A story that will tug at your heart!, July 19, 2000
Drew and Gabrielle belong together, but choices they've made have forced them apart. When her bout with amnesia throws her back into Drew's arms, living as if they'd never separated, Drew can only hope and pray that even when she recovers, they will remain reunited. Wonderful story-- inspirational with no preaching. Just a hero and heroine who clearly believe in each other, and in God.

One more chance, March 30, 2003
Drew Cunniingham and Gabrielle are about to be divorced, but she has an accident on her horse, and loses her memory.
This gives Drew another chance to win his wife's love.
Only he uses things to win her, Drew really sucks up, but instead of showing respect, love and compromise.
Drew learns to drop the biggest words in his vocabulary, me and I and learns to replace them with us and we.
Ms Lough doesn't get into churchyanity, I like that about her.

Thank God for rattlesnakes!, August 20, 2011
First of all, there's this woman who's having a nice, pleasurably horseback ride. She's thinking about her past and the fact she's just about to be divorced from her husband...
Then a rattle snake changes everything!!! Gabby becomes a different person when she hits the ground.
She's suddenly back in time - to when she and her husband had been married for two months. Deep in her mind, that's where she wants to be. Imagine Drew's shock when he comes home and finds his soon-to-be EX-WIFE in his kitchen acting as if she'd never left? Suddenly, he had her back...
Now then, I must say that Drew made me so very, very mad and I think he got off way too easy! The two had been seperated for about nine months. As far as he knew, she had moved on and in her heart they were no longer married. BUT when she pressed him to make love to her that very first night, he obligies her. I'm sorry, but this made me SOOOOO MAD!!!!!!! Then he does it again two nights later!!!!!!!!!!! That man should have been hog tied for doing such a thing...No mater how we want to paint the picture - he took advantage of her. He should have NEVER EVER EVER slept with her during such a time. It was VERY unfair, and the fact that Gabby simply brushed it off inferieted me!!!
Then there were all the lies. I could not BELIEVE it when he decided to get a Molly look alike! My mouth dropped open, and again I felt he got off way too easily. He should have gotten at least a firm tongue lashing for doing such a stupid thing!!!
Oh, and Gabby's, "I just feel like tonight's the night to make a baby" thing...oh Pu-leeze!!!!! I remember taking a pregnancy test when I was six weeks pregnant, and even then the doctor told me that was about as soon as I could have done it...Can you really get results that fast? Only a few days after they made love, she started feeling symptoms? I can't believe that. Don't symptoms start about four weeks or so after conception? I don't know...It just seemed a bit rough...
The above complaints caused me to only rate this four stars. this was an excellent book. I thought the author went a little overboard on the intimate scenes - wasn't really necessary to go as far as to say they made love twice in one night...or to even go that far...We knew what was happening without further explanation...
This story was a great story. It had me hooked from the first page to the last. I was waiting for a big fall-out, which was deserving, but surprisingly wasn't disappointed when it didn't happen. I didn't think the heart attack was really necessary in this story either - didn't really play a part in the story. The cougar story was good, but a bit unbelievable at the end. I was set up to see Gabby's reason for being there behind him, and there really wasn't one...It didn't turn out as I had expected...
And to think it all started with a rattlesnake...Great story...If Drew hadn't goofed up that first night, I could have given it five stars.
