Book Description

June 2006 Sudoku (Book 2)
Sudoku is a type of logic puzzle that has been popular in Japan for about 20 years. However, the world has caught on to the challenge of sudoku. Sudoku means "single number" in Japanese, but the puzzles are also known as "Number Place" in the United States. Despite using numbers, this is not a mathematical puzzle. Logic skills and a lot of time and patience are needed to solve sudoku.

3.0 out of 5 stars Take it anywhere., January 9, 2007

I like the rings and size of the book (pocket-size).I take it everywhere, especially waiting for appointments. The only drawback is, the puzzles don't seem to get anymore difficult as you progress in the book.

do the puzzles in this series have MORE THAN ONE solution? So far, most of the puzzles I've completed are slightly different from the supplied solution in the back. I've never had this problem with the puzzles in the Will Shortz series, though I have to say the spiral and size of these books are nice.

1.0 out of 5 stars Unacceptable, December 6, 2006

Although I loved the spiral bound format, and the size was great for the bus ride, over two-thirds of the puzzles had multiple solutions. That is unacceptable.
