100 Easy to Hard puzzles for a Great Price, A lot of Fun, and Easy to Use, January 24, 2011
This review is from: Sudoku Unbound #1 (Kindle Edition)
I love Sudoku games and previous ones I downloaded for the Kindle were very disappointing. Not only is this game well displayed, it comes with 100 puzzles - excellent for the price. The Instructions are very clear and detailed (I recommend you skim through them), and all appears to work quickly and easily. Very user friendly.
PROS:
- This is easy to use and offers three levels of difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard).
- The EASY level games are easy - if you are used to playing Sudoku games. Otherwise, they are great for warm-ups or learning the game for the newbie.
- The help tips are clearly listed below the gameboard, which makes it easy to use.
- The Hint option allows you to choose the number/square you want to reveal.
- The numbers are large and easy to read.
- Game play is saved if you exit out in
CONS:
- Having to remember what letter is what number. (see below)
- Not enough games - I want more!
On the whole - excellent puzzles and price.
GAMEBOARD:
- My Kindle does not have a number key pad, but using the top row of buttons (Q, W, E, ...) as (1,2,3...) works just fine.
- The Menu button brings up options such as Undo, remove one mistake, TOC and more.
- When you finish a game you can go directly to another game at the same level, or hit "Menu" and go back to the TOC.

excellent, February 12, 2011
This review is from: Sudoku Unbound #1 (Kindle Edition)
this is a great sudoku game. the puzzles are easy to use and lots of fun.
a reviewer said it was hard to remember which keys represented which numbers ~ not true! it couldn't be easier.
at setup time you specify whether you want to use the top row or an adding machine type set up of a cluster of 9 keys. each puzzle has a 'legend' wih it that shows you the numbers and the functions of the buttons (such as undo and hint).
i just have 'pros' and no 'cons' for all 3 versions of sudoku puzzles from Puzzazz (sudoku, wordoku, and symdoku.

Addicted to SUDOKU... again, February 23, 2011
This review is from: Sudoku Unbound #1 (Kindle Edition)
When Sudoku became popular several years ago I quickly became addicted and could not put my pen and tablet down. I forced myself not to purchase a new book once I completed my last one. But darn you Puzzazz and Amazon! There you were, just staring at me on my Kindle and so cheap to boot. I'm now addicted once again and am thouroughly enjoying it, maybe even more than before.
Having done quite a few Sudoku puzzles in the past I can honestly say these by Puzzazz are some of the best. Not only is the usability incredibly simple and intuative, but they are not your typical randomly generated puzzles you see from other companies. When it says more difficult puzzle it really is!
I would highly recommend Sudoku Unbound by Puzzazz, you really can't get any better.
