Product Description

The top-rated puzzle-solving experience from Puzzazz is now available with TouchWrite technology for the Kindle Touch -- just write with your finger!

You can write small or large numbers, whichever you find easier. If you write small numbers (about the size of a puzzle cell), the number will go into the cell that you write in. If you write large numbers, the number will go into the cell that you start writing in.

Like all Puzzazz titles, this book features hand-built, carefully crafted puzzles -- some of the best Sudoku puzzles you'll find anywhere.

No matter which Kindle you use, this Unbound puzzle collection gives you a great solving experience right on the page. Of course, you can use in-cell notes as you solve, just like you do on paper. If you're stuck, move on to a different puzzle -- you can always turn back to that page later. Or, get a hint and keep going.

You'll be both challenged and delighted with by this book of elegant puzzles that fit your personal skill level, because you can change from easy to medium to hard or back at any time. Whatever your skill and solving style, you'll appreciate the calibrated difficulty of the puzzles.

Enjoy!

Good as ever! February 20, 2012

I got this one before reading the review from dumbo, and I have to disagree with it.

Although the Notes behavior is changed, it hasn't changed so much as to degrade the quality of the book. The only difference is that you now have to click your selection twice each time you intend to make a Note, rather than having the selection default to a Note if one is already present. If that's too confusing or difficult, you still have the option (through the Settings panel) to change the default behavior to enter Notes; in this case double-clicking would enter the solution. Not all that hard, really.

The puzzles are as fresh and interesting as the others in the series, and this book includes several new solving features - the display now changes to show when you've got nine of a given number in the grid, and there is a function to show all cells that display a given number. You still have the option of selecting a level for the puzzles, and there is a new "Beginner" level added making them even more approachable.

I'm ranking this one at four stars only because I generally prefer the Wordoku variant. I have some trouble equating the letters on my keypad with the numbers required for the puzzle; I'm continually referring to the keymap provided on the page. But even that wouldn't stop me from recommending this book to anyone who enjoys Sudoku and owns a Kindle.

Wow! February 28, 2012

Sudoku Unbound #3 is excellent. The puzzles are great, but what really impresses me is that I'm using it on my Kindle Touch and I enter the numbers by "writing" them with my fingertip right on the screen. The program reads my handwriting much better than most humans do. On the very rare occasions that it misreads an entry, changing it is simple. I'm already looking forward to Sudoku Unbound #4.

Very Good March 11, 2012
By carlaf
I was very pleased when I checked games content to see that Puzzazz had released another edition of Sudoku Unbound. One reviewer mentioned that he thought this set more difficult than the previous ones. It also seems that way to me. If so, I am pleased because I enjoy a good challenge.
