The Westcaost Roots on that Stoned Soul vibe, April 30, 2009

This is one of great pieces of muzik, that you can just put on n chill 2! I've been following(and going to the live shows, cuz thats where you get the full effect of this muzik) Ikey Owens side projects for awhile now, and I totally thought Free Moral Agents(the new band version) would have put out an album first! You can hear some of Free Moral Agents in this album but has it's own feel and direction. 2mex and the Visionaries are always a dope hip-hop group to check out and listen to. Catch Look Daggers live if you can, cuz their schedule is worked around Ikey's "free time" from the Mars Volta and Free Moral Agents(who just opened for TV on the Radio while they were in Cali, which was a great show!). The DVD is cool too, it gives a bit of backgroud to the LA indie scene. The most insightful part for me was the overall creativeness and spontaneity these artist have! GSL Records(Omar of the Mars Volta's former label) put out a DVD that has some live performances of Free Moral Agents worth checking out too!
