Deception at its highest,
This review is from: The Sufi Mystics Of Islam (Paperback)
This isnt even a book. Its an article from a book. Its an excerpt!! ITS ONLY 16 (THATS RIGHT, I SAID SIXTEEN) PAGES IN LENGTH. The other pages are blank. The description says 46 or 48 pages? Oh, theyre there alright...BLANK PAGES!!
Further the title is grossly misleading. The title suggests that youre going to get a real analysis of sufi mysticism, NOT. What you get is an article that is a continuation from a book. The article starts in midstream from the books section on Oriental Philosophy and its examination of Iran. While there is some mention of a few Sufi mystics how much can you really say about the "Sufi Mystics of Islam" in 16 pages having to do with one country in all of Persia? Regard this as a warning moreso than a technical book review, although this book isnt technically a book anyway. This is just someone making money off of someone elses work. Keep your money and buy a book....a real book!! |
