I placed this line on a spinning reel that I use in salt water fishing. It casts like a dream, giving me greater distance. I placed a 5 foot fluorocarbon topshot. The line is very strong, and also very thin allowing for more line o the spool. It works well for fly lining live baits, or casting artificials!
