The CD is everything I hoped it would be. The ordering and shipping process went smoothly. It has been a good experience and I am enjoying the CD immensely. I bought a copy for a friend who is also enjoying the CD immensely.

Sugar Blues By Clyde McCoy,

I had been trying to get this album for quite some time and the wait was worth it.The album is more than I had antisipated as each and every number
was great. The muted trumpet of Clyde McCoy is absolutely the best I have ever heard, and I was amaized at the sound quality for something done in 1951.To anyone who enjoys jazz and particularly trumpet, I highly recomend this product.

CLYDE McCOY And his Orchestra SUGAR BLUES 1951
In the slang of a previous era; This album is the Cat's Meow. I do believe that ANYONE who has an appreciation for the music of the 30's to 50"s would love this CD. If you have no experience with this music, this is the CD that just may prompt an interest. I recommend it without hesitation. The improvement in sound quality over "The Complete Clyde McCoy on Columbia" CD, which was my first Clyde McCoy CD, is remarkable (1931-33). The musical quality of this recording is also GREAT. I think I could live just looping MOST of this entire CD a couple time a day. Basin Street Blues was the number that I was driven to REPLAY 3 times (WOW, HOLY COW, WOW) in the midst of my 1st first play through. I only got this CD 22 hours ago. Played twice yesterday, and once so far today. Basin Street Blues has been played at least 6 times. I worked in a tool shop 15 years ago, where the shipping clerk played a compilation CD that included Sugar Blues. In 3 1/2 years I never once failed to smile EVERY time it was played. Sometimes when there were only a few people in the shop He would sometimes loop the song 5 times in a row. Believe it or not I don't believe ANYONE ever complained. Good Listening I have recently purchased a 2nd Copy of this CD. Spending your money IS THE SINCEREST FORM OF FLATTERY!! To anyone who is not aware of it I would like to reccomend the Clyde McCoy, 1936 Hi-Fi Radio Transcriptions CD. It is also VERY Good. Amazon is a great resouce for these type of items!! Enjoy the music!!!
