Sugar and Spice is syrupy sweet!, May 27, 2004
This review is from: Sugar and Spice (Paperback)
This quick cute story definitely leaves you with the warm and fuzzies. I did find it somewhat disjointed between how the author relays one situation to the next, but it'll soon be overlooked as you're immediately endeared to the loveable quirky residents of Valiant, Texas.

A keeper. I laughed, I cried, I didn't want it to end., July 27, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Sugar and Spice (Paperback)
Seamstress Rachel Sloan falls in love with Ben McGuire through the letters he wrote to her boss, Joanna Tharp. When Joanna blackmails the lookalike employee into assuming her identity and returning to Valiant, TX, to break off the engagement to Ben, Rachel risks the deception to find out if the man is as wonderful in real life as he is on paper. For everyone who has thrown someone away in your life or has been thrown away, this book is a poignant reminder that you should keep love close and treasure it.
