Sugar Walls is a book about an abused girl named Sugar who is beaten every other day by her crackhead mom for not taking better care of her sexually active little sister Mya. Sugar is a virgin in her last year of high school and looking forward to going to college and getting the hell out of her mother and father's roach infested home.Sugar finally gets fed up and gives a call to an escort owner by the name of Dyna who she met at her part time job, Dyna promises that Sugar will not have to sell her body and can live free with her until she's ready. All of this happened in the first couple of chapters but after that Sugar just goes crazy with trying to find love, as soon as one relationship is over or on the rocks she trys to jump right into something else. This book is good but you will be spinning from Sugar's indecisive and destructive behavior.Sugar opens the club Sugar Walls and that's where the book takes off! This book was an overall good read.

Sugar Walls, is a normal lit with no excitment really. It was okay. I expect better from the author but, it's a welcoming title. Wouldn't really recommend this book....felt alot of unquestion section to the book. The book was just so typical. Girl come from bad home, want to mess with drug dealer, found out some family secret, running for her life and then, meet abother dealer whose better than the first one. Like come on now.

Growing up was not easy for Sugar Alise Clark. She was burdened with the task of watching her wild and promiscuous younger sister while her parents sought to feed their drug and alcohol addiction. Whenever Mya came home late or not at all, her mother physically punished Sugar for it. After graduating from high school, she decided she would no longer take her mother's abuse. She left her home and embarked on her own.
Obtaining a job as a promoter of an escort service, Sugar makes a lot of money and receives gifts and money from the owner of the service, Dyna, who has invited her in her home until Sugar gets on her feet. But nothing is ever that easy and Sugar soon realizes what working for Dyna will really cost her. While seeking to find herself and make it on her own, she enters several relationships that are not good for her, all the while betraying friends and family along the way. SUGAR WALLS is the story of a young girl's quest for independence from her addictive parents and a terrible home. Sugar's character is very immature and I did not see much growth. I would have liked to see her make sound decisions and develop a more solid future for herself. Nonetheless, filled with drama and havoc, there was never a dull moment. I must say I did enjoy the book, but to be completly honest I don't think it was as good as her first book. Now that book was off the chain. This book mostly consisted of poor Sugar getting screwed over over and over again. The descions she made followed by the people she surrounded herself with caused alot of things to go south in her life fom the time she left home running from her ignorant stupid mom. So I would recommend this book based on the fact that there is always some type of drama going on.
