5.0 out of 5 stars Somebody give somebody an award already...
If you are familiar with the first SG DVD, this one is based on the same method (except it's European girls this time). What can you really say about Suicide Girls? All one really needs to hear is tattooed and pierced pin-ups and if that doesn't sell you, you're looking in the wrong place. Not only do you get to see photo sets and candid behavior, but you actually get to...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good but not great like the First Tour
The Italian Villa DVD is certainly a great purchase
to see the beauties of Suicide Girls in an interesting
setting, but that's about it. There isn't much dynamic
background info, candid or insightful testimonials, and
no great performances as was seen in the First Tour DVD

If you are familiar with the first SG DVD, this one is based on the same method (except it's European girls this time). What can you really say about Suicide Girls? All one really needs to hear is tattooed and pierced pin-ups and if that doesn't sell you, you're looking in the wrong place. Not only do you get to see photo sets and candid behavior, but you actually get to know a bit about the models themselves.

Unlike the dead-eyed, airbrushed models of today, Suicide Girls stands alone, unopposed, waiting only on you to figure out that they are the best thing to happen to modeling since the camera.

Highly enjoyed and highly recommended. It's time to see what the cool kids are talking about boys and girls...enjoy.

P.S. - Do try to contain yourself during Go-Go and Maia's segments.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun and Inspiring, September 2, 2007
This review is from: Suicide Girls: Italian Villa (DVD)
First of all: Suicide Girls are beyond hot!!
I also have the first Suicide Girls DVD (The First Tour), and this DVD ist quiet different from the first.
This is not a "stage- and/or backstage" film (as the first dvd), but a "travel" film.
The landscape is very nice, but this is not the most important thing here. It is just a "geographical reference".
On this DVD every girl gets her own segment, and a "video-photo-shooting". VERY NICE shooting.
It's also funny, nice, and more "quiet" as the first SC-DVD, but better than "the first tour DVD".
And please, this is not a girl-girl action movie (if you are looking for it), but a movie about that 20 or so hot girls naked in tuscany.
And the girls are amazing.

The second thing: the audio and VIDEO quality is top! I love it!
The soundtrack is also a positive point on this DVD.

Gorgeous Suicide Girls, cornfields, swimming pools, tattoos and goth wear, what else do you need? I think I actually liked this dvd better than the 1st Tour one. All hail Munko!

This video was a bit of a let-down to me. I didn't think the girls were that fantastic, and the scenes were just ok. Maybe because the video is a bit older? If I had had a chance to see it before buying it, I wouldn't have purchased it...

I brought this video for my husband for Christmas, and he said he didn't like it one bit. I brought it for him because he saw one of their other videos and liked it but he didn't like this at all! It was a horrible gift I gave him!

3.0 out of 5 stars Suicide Girls: from a guy's point of view, August 3, 2008

Rykre "The Rogue Scholar" (of the vast Western Dystopian Wasteland) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Suicide Girls: Italian Villa (DVD)
This DVD kinda captured my interest. It added another chapter to the study of sexual attraction and how we recognize our own mindsets of what is compliance in our society.

Suicide Girls: a name that defines a woman hell-bent on the element of shock and expression. So, the girls I see hanging around the mall or hanging out with guys who also look like a work of art, actually have a club that the can meet at on line. So, it seems that these girls all share a common theme in their way of life. Alone, they are generally depressed or just plain disconcerned about the world around them. They've been called goth girls, or Emos, or as their website and DVD suggested, they are Suicide Girls. Some are looking for a means of unique identity, some are looking for pity. This DVD looks like it was put together to bring some of these lonely girls together to meet more girls like themselves. So, now they've really discovered an identity for themselves as a group. A rather wealthy Suicide Girl arranged for many of them to get together as an all expenses paid vacation to Italy and to do nude photo shots of each other, and to let each one share a little story about themselves. This DVD is showing a lot less than what is probably true about their getting together with each other. This has to be a probable lesbian fantasy for them all. Don't get me wrong, I'm not condemning that. You can tell that they actually get turned on from each other as they sweat and smell each other as they play together. Actual sexual play never appears on film, at least not presented on this DVD. But I'm sure their hormones were raging by the pheromones they were all releasing as they appeared to be hungering for each other.

The girl, Manko, the most outspoken Suicide Girl here is really hot! Her voice and speaking style is so sexy. She is my kind of dirty girl. Plus, the girl India (much less tattooed and pierced than the others) also is quite exciting.

The girls here all appear to be from Europe so their accents make them exciting to us Americans. The Suicide Girls I see in the bay area aren't always as pretty as most of these girls here on this DVD, but what makes these kinds of girls more exciting to me here in California are the ones that go "au naturale" and do not shave. I can't seem to define why I am attracted to girls with body hair and I don't understand why girls feel that they should have to shave their body. Armpit hair have people divided on what is sexy and what is totally unattractive. I'll admit that girls I've passed with sweaty armpit hair have really turned me on, even if they weren't so pretty. The pheromones they release in their odor are an unspoken natural turn-on for some, but not all people. Guys and girls (and naturally animals) have all responded to this phenomenon. There have been studies that support this. Me personally, I love the look of a dirty girl with unkempt dark hair, and an unaltered natural scent on a hot day (not masked with perfumes and deodorants). When I was in Europe, I saw many girls going "au naturale" and I thought that was more beautiful than girls shaving everything and wearing strong perfumes and deodorants. Some people respond to these pungent odors (pheromones) as "unclean". However, some of us find it to be our initial attraction to one another.

I like the Suicide Girls although I'm not fond of having any metal piercings on their lip or tongue or any of their private parts. That's just me. I know some people find it very attractive. When I'm kissing on a girl, I don't want any metal in my mouth. Sometimes a girl can go overboard with their piercings and their tattoos and can actually be quite a turn-off. This can contribute to why some girls feel so alone when they are home away from other girls like themselves. Their parents may have rejected them for their lifestyle choice, and of course, their more conservative friends who make more of an effort to comply with social expectation, may feel uncomfortable being seen with them. Employers too, will judge the quality of their institution by the choices they make as to the appearance of their hired staff.

I've been looking into the concept of animal magnetisms, the psychological response to pheromones, and why we are attracted to people totally different from ourselves. If we've grown up maintaining a compliance of what the world expects of us, then it isn't really such a mystery as to why we would be attracted to a person that breaks all the rules about their appearance. Girls shave their pits and legs because someone put in their heads that a woman must do so. It's the feminine thing to do, they say. I'd like to know who made this unwritten rule. A man or a woman? So, in closing, a Suicide Girl breaks all the rules and is therefore quite a genuine mystique, which is attractive to some people, but a means of disgust to someone with a forced mindset to comply with their boorish, conservative elders.

I'd like to know what other guys and girls think.

This is a fantastic movie. It's a bit more obscure then their first movie, but it is still a great choice for the Suicide Girls fan in your life.
