I bought the book to read a real story about depression and specifically about suicide. I wanted to read about a person with suicidal tendencies and this was the book. So I went through it in 6 days, very nice written. I would like to read more about him, but some of the fictional work that he wrote in the past.
About the book, you can't judge how he felt about himself because he has a mental disorder, although his family is there, they didn't do anything to help him go through it. Sometimes they just made things to easy for him or worse.
I highly recommend the book to everyone, except people with depression, it could be a very tiresome reading and not helpful at all.

This mental health probelm often can be seen in girls, thats why this book made me re-read it over and over. He is not ugly, but in his mind he is.
