1.0 out of 5 stars Extremely Basic Booklet - Don't waste the money, December 10, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Suit Yourself: A Practical Guide to Men's Attire (Paperback)
This is very very brief and not very much of the advice goes beyond common sense. It feels outdated, stodgy and unimaginative. Most any mens magazine can give you eqaul or better advice as could any store clerk.

This review is from: Suit Yourself: A Practical Guide to Men's Attire (Paperback)
Molloy's book covers the same ground more broadly and deeply. This book is light on the text, heavy on glossy pictures that don't always correlate with the text, and a pretty good example of packing the minimum of information into the maximum of consumer dollars spent. Buy Molloy's book instead as a beginner book on this subject.

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT help for any man wanting to dress well!, July 22, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Suit Yourself: A Practical Guide to Men's Attire (Paperback)
This book is an excellent, easy to read and follow guide for any man wanting to dress well. It is a must-buy for any man going on a job interview, corporate employees, employers who wish to define "casual day", graduates starting out in the job market who wish to build a wardrobe, and spouses/relatives/friends who want to buy for men in their lives (small cut-out cards where sizes can be written in are included in the book so that these can be brought while shopping). Other topics covered include accessories, formal wear, fabric weights and styles, and lots more. I found this to be a most helpful resource that I will refer to again and again!
