SUITE SEDUCTION Katie Spencer and Dylan Ward had been seeing each other for several months. Katie was bouncing back from a failed relationship so Dylan was careful to not push her into a more serious relationship too fast, when deep down he was aching to propose to her. Dylan enjoyed sex to the fullest, sometimes preferring it down and dirty, the raunchier the better, but because Katie is so sweet and gentle he is hesitant to come on too strong. Katie loves the way Dylan makes her feel, but she is tired of their vanilla lovemaking and decides to turn up the heat a bit by reserving a weekend for them at the Scimitar, a hotel that caters to adult fantasies. Katie and Dylan are very sweet and loving characters, both very much wanting a successful relationship with the other, but both are reluctant in taking steps toward making a permanent commitment. SUITE SURRENDER Shelli Richards, manager of the popular adult pleasure palace known as the Scimitar, successfully manages any obstacle that crosses her path. Unfortunately, she cannot manage the weather or the snowstorm that has hit the mountains of western North Carolina. After being forced to close the hotel and send all employees and guests on their way, Shelli chooses to ride out the storm at the hotel, her only companion being her assistant, Tyler Strickland, who refuses to allow her to remain alone. Because of a recent painful experience that Shelli had with a co-worker, he is positive that she won't want to see him on a personal level while they work together and he looks forward to pursuing a much more personal relationship with her after he leaves the Scimitar. When the power goes out completely and their only generators begin to weaken, the two must find other methods to keep warm for survival. As road crews get closer to having their road cleared, Tyler fears that he will find himself alone in love, wondering if he will have the opportunity to tell Shelli how he truly feels. It is a pleasure to watch Shelli and Tyler face their uncertainties, each hopeful that the other shares the same deep emotions, but fearful of the chance that they may not. SUITE REVENGE Emily Drake spent a good portion of her childhood in love with Luke Marshall and all of her adult life lusting after him. Luke broke Emily's young heart when she was fourteen and she never forgot it. When Luke comes up for bid in a bachelor auction for charity, Emily is bound and determined to be the top bidder. Luke is surprised to see that Emily has the winning bid for two dates with him. For years she was the pesky little sister of his best friend, Brad, and he knows that he hurt her feelings years ago when he rejected her attention. The last time he saw Emily was at Brad's wedding, and he had found himself sorely tempted to dump his date to spend the rest of the night with her. Emily has decided that she has to get Luke off of her mind in order to be wholly satisfied with other men she dates. She can't stop comparing every man she meets with Luke. Once she makes love with him, she'll forget about him, right? The only remaining question is how Luke will react when she makes her request of him. Luke has a hard time breathing in response to Emily's proposal, and when she takes him to the Scimitar, he nearly goes into shock all over again. The only problem these two encounter is that Emily isn't sure that her plan was such a good one once they proceed. She wants Luke more than ever after they've made love. Luke decides that he wants more than a one night stand with Emily, but isn't so sure that she feels the same way. Maybe it's time that he make a proposal of his own. Emily and Luke are wonderful in this story about friends turned lovers. Emily is self-assured and certain of what she wants from Luke, until she has it, and then she begins to question her decision. Luke is faced with feelings for Emily that he hadn't realized were so strong. These three stories are wonderful, all sweetly sensual and all containing very likable characters with a high degree of class and the utmost respect for each other. Past experience has made Shelli leery of an office romance but those fantasy rooms at the hotel set the stage for one hot and racy romance. Once they give into the desires they see that their friendship can lead to so much more.

Suite Revenge has Emily Drake buying the bachelor of her dreams at a charity auction. Luke Marshall has been her fantasy man since she was fourteen. Now that she has bought him she figures one weekend at the Scimitar hotel should get him out of her system for good. Luke regrets crushing Emily's dreams at fourteen but now that they both are older all bets are off. Their fantasy trip to the hotel brings out more then just a weekend fling.

Suite Fantasy's three stories are wickedly hot, deeply sensual and sassy. Each story has its own tale to tell and each one is a gem. Janice Maynard stories are a delight for the senses.

This is an anthology written by Janice Maynard. It is a book that is weaved around three different couples and the Scimitar Hotel with its luxury suites that caters to couples and their adult fantasies.

SUITE SEDUCTION is about Kate Spencer, who is a dayhome provider, who has just come from a bad relationship and in no mood for romance. Dylan Ward owns his own construction company and was persistent in trying to get Kate to go out with him when they were introduced by a mutual friend. They have a wonderful relationship, only Kate fells that Dylan needs to know another side of her, one she has been timid to show in fear of losing him. Dylan on the other hand is cautious with Kate, not wanting to hurt her and lose her, but at the same time not showing his more amorous side. She books them into a weekend getaway at the prestige's Scimitar Hotel and it is here that they learn that they each must give up their control with each other and that anything goes as long as it is mutual.

SUITE SURRENDER is about Sheli Richards, the Manager of the Scimitar Hotel. Tyler Strickland, is her Assistant Manager and they have a terrific working relationship, but Tyler has resigned his position to work for another hotel, which has hurt Sheli. But when an unexpected snow storm has them shutting down the hotel and evacuating all the customers and Sheli stays behind to look after things, Tyler stays back as well to help her. She has no idea that the reason Tyler has resigned is that he has loved her from afar and that by resigning he can now act on his feelings. Sheli has always maintained an boring boss/employee relationship, but that does not stop her from dreaming of .... if only things were different. Now with nothing but time due to a snow storm maybe this was her opportunity to have some of those dreams come true with no repercussions since Tyler was leaving anyway. What they discover is how good they are for each other, but can they make it work outside of the snowstorm?

These are three exciting reads that Janice has weaved. The heat, these couples spark is enough to burn up the pages of the book. A hot fun read that keeps you turning pages to find out how each situation can be resolved in the end..........

Janice Maynard has brought us 3 very sexy and delightfully naughty tales centered around the luxurious and decadent Scimitar hotel where fantasies are realized and couples are brought closer together by love. Each story is a stand alone but also work together as these couples explore their sensuality and discover how love, trust, and respect can result in the ultimate pleasure.

For Ryan and Katie in "Suite Seduction", by being completely open and honest with each other about their fantasies, they both realize that they truly do belong together and have no reason to hide their naughty sides from each other, but instead revel in their mutual passion. A weekend trip to the Scimitar reveals just how compatible they really are. In "Suite Surrender", Scimitar employee Tyler has loved his manager Shelli from afar but out of respect for her has hidden his feelings so as not to cross any professional boundaries. Keeping away from her has become exceedingly difficult and now he feels he must leave Scimitar to protect her reputation and stay away from the constant temptation. Shelli has tried to play by the rules and not let Tyler know how she feels about him, but now Tyler is leaving and it might be her last chance. When circumstances throw them together for a night, they both give into the ultimate fantasy: love. 'Love him and leave him', that's Emily's motto in "Suite Revenge". Luke broke her heart when she was a teenager, but she's never been able to forget about him. Every man she meets pales in comparison to the hold Luke has on her, and she's decided the only way to break that hold is to get him out of her system once and for all. Winning him in a charity auction and bringing him to the Scimitar for a night of passion seems like the perfect solution, until Emily realizes she can't keep her emotions out of it. These stories are a lovely collection centered around a fantasy location readers will want to visit themselves, or at least re-create in their own relationships. Living out one's most secret fantasies is made even more irresistible by the promise of love. These stories are highly sensual and are written with a level of trust between the characters which is based on true commitment and respect. Janice Maynard is definitely one to watch!

Even though i gave it a 3 i would give it a close 4... its like the other reviewer said it was good but not wow...BUT still a good quick read i like all the stories.

Scimitar Hotel is where all these sexy stories take place. Once you start this book you will keep turning pages until the end. Three couples, different fantasies, one thing in common, love. The tenderness the romance and the sensuality are present in all three stories. These are all things that are distinctive and a trademark of Janice's romances. If you have never read one of her books before pick this one up and you will be hooked. Dare to come into the Fantasy of the Scimitar Hotel and make your fantasies come true. Its an adventure you don't want to miss!

I didnt think that i would find a book hot & sexy enough to keep my interest,but this book did that Iloved it I wish there was a sequel to it!!!!

Suite Fantasy is an extraordinary romance. The level of eroticism is high and well-delivered. Janice is from Tennessee, as I am, which made for delightful reading to discover small tidbits of information that only Tennesseans would know/remember. I can remember the blizzard of 93. I know the mountains of East Tennessee and North Carolina as I lived in Johnson City during my college years. This book was a pleasure. Thanks Janice for embedding small details that made me feel like I had an "in" the whole time.

I loved the stories in t his anthology. Every one of them were terrific. But the thing that surprised me most, was how Ms. Maynard was able to make each one different from the other. I can't even say that I loved one more than the other.

The only thing better would be a Suite Fantasy 2. To be able to go back and revisit the Scimitar Hotel...oh, yeah, that'd be the ultimate.

I also can't wait to read her story in "A Very Merry Christmas" coming out in September '06 and I desperately want January to get here so I can buy "Play With Me", that one looks HOT! Can't wait!

Romantic tales. Nice and light. Quick read. Nothing mind shattering.
