Book Description

He's a gorgeous tattooed millionaire bad boy and he's headed back to his roots, and to her.

Cash made his fame and fortune at the Vegas poker tables, now he's headed home to Whiskey Cove, Louisiana. Little does he know, the woman he left behind still waits for his return.

After eight years as a professional poker player, Cash needed a break. The endless glow and ceaseless action of Vegas had lost its luster and his interest. As his trucked crossed the Louisiana state line he thought of her. The woman he'd left behind eight years ago. She'd been everything and he'd left to become a better man for her. He never thought it would take him eight years, but he'd been no good for her, for his family, for anyone. He'd lost her and his heart and he'd no hope of getting it back. She was the only woman he'd ever loved.

Isabela wasn't the same girl she was eight years ago. She was a woman now. A successful one. She'd survived the tribulations life had thrown a her - three times. She was smart, driven, and tough. Only one thing could derail her now but she knew the chances she'd ever see him again were low. That's why when he stood across from her on Louisiana soil, she had no hand to play. She would try hard to resist him, but she knew ultimately she'd fail.

˃˃˃ She'd haunted his dreams and now she was a touch away and he wouldn't be able to resist her.

When his hands drifted into her hair its silkiness drove all his senses into overdrive and he had to have her. He hoped she'd let him because he had no intentions of folding.

˃˃˃ How many times had she thought were she to see him again she’d punch him square in his too gorgeous face?

But with him standing before her, she’d been rendered immobile. Suddenly all her hate, anger, and hurt didn’t matter so much. He was home, he was safe, and for that she was thankful. Her body was not at all in accord with her brain. She was starting to lean into him. She needed him like she needed air to breathe. If he made the first move, she'd fall at his feet and let him do what he wanted with her. What she wanted. She only prayed he would.

5.0 out of 5 stars READ it! December 19, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
OMG I LOVED this story! This is my first read by Gina Watson and I'm off now to purchase Smolder. I found myself crying three times while reading Suited, three times! Because the author's writing was so full of gut wrenching emotion that it sucked me right in, and had me really feeling for Cash and Isa. She can write a great sex scene, too. You will not be disappointed!

2.0 out of 5 stars Irritating April 9, 2014

So many things just didn't add up with this story. Probably most irritating to me was the drastic changes the characters made in their behavior and attitude with little to no reasoning. The main characters ran hot and cold and I had no connection with them. This one just wasn't a story I enjoyed much. Sorry.

5.0 out of 5 stars So Hot June 11, 2014

I loved this book! I loved the story line and characters and the book really kept my attention - I couldn't put it down! The attraction between Isa and Cash was explosive, even after all of the years they have been apart - I felt the connection - I love books that make me feel the emotion of the characters!

4.0 out of 5 stars Suited May 30, 2014

I wasn't sure I'd like this book but I was surprised to find that I liked it quite a bit. I'm also curious about the previous and following books in the series and I will be checking them out in the near future. Cash is called back home where he finds out that he didn't just leave his family or a broken heart behind when he took off several years prior.
The characters are rough tough and easily swoon worthy. :)

3.0 out of 5 stars Quick contempo 2nd chance novella April 26, 2014

Great option for an in between book and you want to read something spicy, said that...I would have liked to have a little background info on the subjects in the story, before they had sex . It's not about being prudish more of feeling empathy for them. By the time you get the picture the book ends.
Not bad, just not great

5.0 out of 5 stars Cash me that man! ;) March 4, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I have read Logan's story and this one. I like Cash's story far more. It was more realistic that Shatter. First this couple have loved each other for many years, so it is natural that they get back together. I really like all memebers of this family they are just good humans. Even Clift owns up to his demons. Be prepare to cry, no sob, I know I did. Oh the heart of the main characters are breathtaking. Beautiful story of lover, and redemntion. BTW sex is hot...

3.0 out of 5 stars The long lost has returned home. February 19, 2014
By Ariam
Format:Kindle Edition
Cash had been for a couple of years when his twin brother called him to help out with some building projects. Cash had no idea who was part of the project until she came out of that car. It was Isa, his past love of his life. Getting back together with her would of been great if only he could take care of the past that held on to him, his father's regrets.

More About the Author

I lead a double life. By day I'm training young women to become speech therapists. At night I sip red wine, dial down all distractions, and sink into the fictional worlds I create. Good tunes on my iPod are a must. I get so caught up in my characters that I truly wish the male hero would materialize in the flesh; especially when I see the cover image...I swoon.

I have spent the past several years working as a university instructor. My students are young adult females so I'm constantly running plot lines and book covers by them. They make a great beta team! I love my job at the university but there is something I love even more. . . romance novels. I'll read any genre as long as there are steamy sex scenes and the standard issue HEA ending. Initially I was drawn in by the escape and sweeping emotion of it all, so much so, I began to create my own fictional world.

Since I worked during the day my nights were consumed with writing. I was powerless to stop the stories that wanted to be freed from my mind. I actually started to get mixed up. I would think something I wrote at night was something I had said during the working day and vice versa. My friends were worried for my sanity but I assured them I had not gone mad, I was just writing. Once I started I wrote upwards of 3,000 words per day.

It was in the early millennium when I became brave enough to share my stories with others. I began to post my stories on fiction websites and then something marvelous happened--I was followed by hundreds of eager readers. I loved my followers and their kind words helped motivate me.

These days I am writing books and I've learned some things about myself during the process. I like to write series novels because I have trouble letting go. I like a little plot with my romance, erotica, contemporary. Call it what you will, but I have to have a good story in which to sink my teeth. If I start writing a story I have to finish it, even if it's terrible.

My dog is my muse and when he tilts his forehead at me and blinks his large black eyes questioningly at me, I think he is worried I've been sucked into the wormhole of the very fiction that I write. I appreciate his concern but I have yet to fall down the rabbit hole. Here's to everyone else in my boat, may our voyage become a permanent destination.
