John's son, Major Johanathan Tagliaferro (Tag the JAG) is assigned to be the US Army legal liaison to an Israeli Defense Forces Commando unit. The troops are spearheading the Iranian invasion with almost every country in the region following them into and through Iran. Tag is relatively safe in the headquarters with the commanding General.

John and Suki are tasked with defeating Iranian systems that are similar to what they have worked on in the past.

The couple becomes a real team and is able to still have valuable rest and relaxation during most of the vacation.

The character and author John Tagliaferro, was born an only child, grew up in Maynardville, Tennessee. Vanderbilt University graduate, retired Lieutenant Colonel, US Army Aviation with an Armor and US Cavalry background. He was also a Defense Contractor during his Reserve Service, as well as before and after his Active Duty service. He learned car restoration from his father, Josef.

Divorced in his early 30's, he concentrated on rearing and educating his now accomplished son between deployments.

John Tagliaferro's functional background is in Finance and Logistics.
