If you like Celtic music, you will love this CD. All of the tracks are wonderful and there's a nice selection of recording artists. We listen to this CD all the time!

Lives up to its name,
By Bejasus (Belfast) - See all my reviews

"Sult" is Irish for "pleasure," and that's what this album is: a real pleasure. It is a soundtrack from an Irish television show that was hosted by the great Donal Lunny -- I wish the program was available on DVD. There's a tremendous mix of talent here. It has a great mix of old tunes and modern songs, and they tend to mix it up a little with traditional artists doing popular tracks like Crazy Love and pop artists interpreting the trad songs. Paul Brady's version of "Rocks of Bawn" is heartbreaking and Van Morrison knocks me over every time with this version of "St. Dominic's Preview." Mark Knopfler breathes new life into the often covered "Raglan Road" and "Siúil a Rúin" by Maighréad Ní Dhomhnaill and Iarla Ó Lionaird takes your breath away. I can listen to this one over and over again, non-stop, for hours. It lives up to its name!
