Sultry Summer Fun anthology from Ellora's Cave, June 1, 2009
This review is from: Sultry Summer Fun (Paperback)
Huh. Who knew? I enjoyed reading "Sultry Summer Fun", a five-author anthology from Ellora's Cave. Granted I didn't LOVE every story, but there weren't really any I hated either.
"Hypnotica" by Kimberly Dean was my favorite of the five. A shy woman attracted to a quiet but hunky man is 'unleashed' during a hypnotist show on a cruise. Fun, funny, and way hot!
"Tandem" by Elizabeth Donald had some hot sex, but also two strangers falling in love over a weekend...eh, maybe.
"Off the Deep End" by Anna J. Evans was smoking hot and involves a sexy, well-hung merman! Need I say more?
Eve Jameson's "Saint JIllian's Rebel" is a reunion love story with a sizzling bad-boy hero. Yummy.
Mary Winter rounds out the list with "Water Lust" which has a very esoteric, metaphysical vibe.
Five authors, five short stories, each just the right length for a quick read before bed. Not a keeper for me, but still enjoyable.
