If you like the Grace Chapel Inn books this one is another hit. It speaks of the small town "neighbor helping neighbor" ideals. The Howard sisters are involved in the summer adventures of a small town and its problems and also a former ANGEl gets them involved with teens at risk. I loved the way the book tells that story and makes it come alive.

I've read a few of the books from Tales from Grace Chapel Inn series. One needs to keep in mind that each book is written by a different author, so take the story content and writing style into consideration. Compared to a few of the other books, this reflected a slow pace summer and the activities of the 3 sisters. I commend the author for finding great ideas for summer challenges for the 3 sisters. I'm a bit surprised by the rock climbing field trip by a 65 year old sister, but it's possible. Good story content, but a bit on the lazy side and somewhat predictable. I would make other choices from this series if interested in adding to library collection. Great to read a series free of sex and swearing content. Guideposts is a wonderful publication and carries on Norman V. Peale's traditions and viewpoints.

I have still not recieved my book. I contacted the seller, who told me another one would be sent. Still waiting. :(
