More About the Author

Marjorie Galen was born in Brooklyn many years before it was hip to live there. She likes to make things and then write about the process. Some of her favorite things to make are chocolate chip cookies, quilts, doll dresses, embroidered hankies, and hand knitted socks. She is the author of two craft books for kids and families, and is currently working on a new sewing book (this time one for adults).

Format:Paperback
Very imaginative with engaging photographs. Great ideas to make a summer day with kids perfect. Does not require too much advanced preparation, mostly using objects found outdoors. Easy to follow instructions. Some projects will appeal to girls others to boys. How about a "Winter Crafts" book next?(Also makes a great gift)
