5.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't live without them!
I bought a set of the pink bunnies when my daughter was two months old; she's now six months old and I am back to buy another set for our extra car seat. They install in 10 seconds or less and have withstood at least a dozen washes. They prevent the straps from cutting into my baby's neck and also provide head and neck support when she falls asleep.

An earlier review complained that they prevented the chest clip in a 5-point harness from being high enough, however we have used them in both our Graco carrier and our Evenflo triumph without any problems at all. Its recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the National Highway Safety Administration that the chest clip be child's armpit level. If the chest clip is too high, it can interfere with your child's breathing. If the chest clip is too low, your child can move an arm out of the shoulder strap and risk injury in a crash. The strap covers have always complied with this recommendation.

We love these strap covers and I don't know how we ever got by without them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for summer!, May 27, 2007

I purchased this to protect my daughter's neck from her car seat straps in the summer when she's wearing sleeveless shirts or dresses and it's perfect! She's much happier without the straps digging into her skin. They're super easy to put on and off and cute as can be! I highly recommend this product!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great!, April 8, 2007
We tried a couple different solutions to the "head-flop" problem in the newborn's carseat. These worked best. They're easy to adjust even when they're closed (the velcro is very strong) which is a plus when you don't want to wake the baby up.

5.0 out of 5 stars These are perfectly safe if you buckle up your kids fine normally, May 29, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These are excellent, basically the baby equivalent of those lamb skin over-the-shoulder covers for adult seat belts. These are perfectly safe if you use them for what they are intended, to keep the seat belts from rubbing the necks and/or ears of your little ones. If you're not buckling your kids up tightly (and these will not get in the way of doing this), that's your own fault.

About the only thing "bad" about these is they may get wet from your little one sucking on them! If you're concerned about the seat belt rubbing on your kids, then these work well. But they are arguably a superfluous purchase (again, like the adult lamb skin equivalents).

4.0 out of 5 stars great covers, January 16, 2008
This review is from: Summer Cushystraps Super Soft Strap Covers, Pink Bunnies (Baby Product)
Great product, works great. Now when my daughter falls asleep in her car seat she has somewhere to rest her head and the straps aren't digging into her neck. At first she was distracted by the bunnies and would try to eat them, so I turned them upside down so the bunnies are at her shoulders instead of her chest.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for purpose, but do consider your seat., December 14, 2010

These work really well for us to keep my son's head from falling when he is asleep. He is 7 months and 21 lbs and they are the right size to fit above the chest harness on his seat. He is more comfortable and never drops his head now. I am glad his neck isn't hurting and that he's less cranky when falling asleep in the car.

It is very, very important to make sure these will work with your seat. I was able to slide them all the way back at the top and tighten the harness. This ensured the chest buckle was at the same spot as it would be without the pads, and also the same tightness. It's important to do that to be sure your baby is safe. If you take that extra step, this are a really awesome product to keep your kid both safe AND comfortable.

I think they are safer than the pillows, which can spin around and cover baby's face. I also would hesitate to use this with a newborn, because I'm not positive that I could get the chest buckle high enough for safety.

Bought these strap covers for my 16 mo. old baby girl. They are so soft and work great - no more red marks on her neck, and I don't have to worry about her comfort when she falls asleep in the car anymore. I was a little worried at first about the whole "they get in the way of your 5-point harness" advice, but they really don't, at least not in her carseat. And they are the perfect size. Very glad I bought this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars PROTECTOR DE CINTURON COMODISIMO, August 26, 2010

Este es el mejor complemento para los asientos de auto de bebé. Mis niñas adoran su textura y sus suaves colores, ademas protejen su piel del roce con el cinturon de seguridad del asiento.

UPDATE

My daughter is now 19months and altho she managed to take a kitty face off on one side, we still use these covers on her carseat.
These are better then nothing and having her head flop over if she sleeps, I cant recall how much I payed for them on amazon, but remember seeing them at a Kmart for four dollers so I will probably buy again from a store.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great! ...and, by the way, not just for carseat straps., May 20, 2009
This review is from: Summer Cushystraps Super Soft Strap Covers, Pink Bunnies (Baby Product)
I use these on my daughter's stroller, high chair, and front pack carrier to keep the straps from rubbing on her little neck. They're not JUST for carseats. They're soft & cuddly, versus harsh and chafing. GREAT! She cuddles up to them and (HUGE bonus for us!) they helped keep her head from flopping around in the front pack carrier without obstructing her breathing when she was tiny. I have two different kinds and these are my favorite by a long shot.
