SUMMER HOLIDAY Soundtrack is a return to the fun days of innocent romance and adventure. The title track, SUMMER HOLIDAY, is fun and promising. THE NEXT TIME is a heart wrinching song about love lost and yet a hope for love another time. BACHELOR BOY is the ballad type swingy ideals of a romantic on the lookout for adventure and love. These songs from the soundtrack I love. While the other songs are an intrical part of the story as a whole, they lend themselves to the "Broadway" type theme of the musical production that the movie is. In that, they are all superb. You can tell that I loved the period, the settings and the soundtrack of the movie. The Bachelors and Cliff Richard do a wonderful job. Cudos to all.

I WAS A YOUNG BOY IN LATE 60'S IN KENYA WHEN I FIRST HEARD CLIFF RICHARDS SING THIS SONG. IT'S ONE OF THOSE SONGS THAT KEEP ON GOING IN YOUR MIND.

He has been around for ages and has produced many hits.This album stands testiment to the earlier days of Cliff Richard.The first song,in spirit with title is called "Seven Days To A Holiday" and is a lovely track with backing vocals by the ABS Orchestra.Check out the instrumentation in this song.The second song is the title track "Summer Holiday".This track is full of life and makes you feel like swaying to the beats.Cliff politely asks your permission to take you on a ride in the next track "Let us take you for a ride" and he takes us on a wonderful journey!Songs like "Foot Tapper ", "Bachelor Boy" make it clear that Cliff Richard has all the makings of a superstar.This album is a great buy,and is one of the albums that set the standard for albums to come.This album made me want to find out more and listen to more of Cliff Richards
