I'm not a fan of long reviews so I'm gonna keep this short. The product itself is very nice. Well made, great design and several extras that make it worth while. IF YOU PLAN ON PUTTING THIS ANYWHERE OTHER THAN A 1 1/2" COUNTER OR TABLE, don't buy it!! I only write this because, as a consumer, there is nothing more frustrating than making a purchase, being exited about it, and then getting it home only to find out it doesn't work...

I totally agree with the first reviewer. I was super excited to get home and set this up and it will not fit my table with a 4" lip/skirt. Very frustrating. I was under the impression it would fit up to a 5" skirt but perhaps I was confused with another brand. I don't understand why anty company would bother making a product that is so limited on the size table it will fit. These (twins) are going back to the store. Back to the drawing board.

I bought this for my 4th child. I had a traditional high chair for the others, and this was so much easier! It only fit on the end positions of our oval table, but that was not a big issue. I threw it in the wash just about every day for the last 3 months, and loved how easy it was to clean and replace this seat. I appreciated the tray feature as well. Another bonus is the flexibility to switch between attach-to-a-chair mode or hook-on-the-table mode.

I have two complaints: 1. Sadly, this week the flat bottom support (it slides into a pocket of sorts to support baby's bum) has broken off from the frame so it is more like a camp chair. I'm not sure the snaps will hold, so we'll be moving it to attach-it-to-a-chair mode. Which brings me to 2. the unit was missing the attach-it-to-a-chair straps. I called customer service, but the shipment must have had a problem. I called again a few weeks later and the straps arrived 48 hours later. Too bad they were the wrong straps. I'll call again now that I need them.

So, 5 stars for idea of 2-in-1 function and washability, but major fail on durability and customer service. UPDATE: called again, and a new seat is on the way. Hope it holds up better, but at least now I'll have two trays and a spare seat for when one is in the wash;) UPDATE 2: okay, baby is now 15 months old and the replacement seat had the same issue. BUT in looking at the photos on the box, I found that if you swing the back legs forward and attach the snaps to enclose both sets of legs [chair legs, not baby legs;)] you get tremendous support for the seat bottom. So now even with both tabs broken, the seat bottom is actually quite sturdy. Wish I'd done this from the beginning. It probably would have prevented the breaking issue. I'm glad I can keep using it attached to the table, as the booster mode doesn't actually raise baby to table height. So still 3 stars.

We got this as a gift and we have not used it even once because it hasn't worked in any of the situations in which we have tried it.
We originally tried it as the attachment on the counter when our daughter was starting solids. It didnt fit the counter. Or the table. Or my in-laws table or any of the tables at any of the restaurants in our neighborhood. We put it away thinking that we could try it again as a booster when she got a bit older and could sit in it while it was attached to a chair.
Wrong.

Fast forward to us trying it as a booster seat: there is actually no booster on this. None. It has these stubby little legs on it and her butt is actually still on the chair. Im not sure how that can be called a "booster" at all. I even tried putting the tray *under* the seat to maybe give it some actual boost.

This is pretty much the worst design of any of the myriad baby products I have used or seen anyone else use.

We ended up purchasing the Inglesina Fast Chair, which is amazing, btw. it fits 95% of the tables in the restaurants we go to. She's just getting to heavy now, at over a year, to attach her to most restaurant tables but it still works on our counter.

Verified Purchase
I purchased the booster seat for my grandson to sit in when he comes for a visit. I found the seat perfect for our needs.

We've used this seat with our son since starting solids and he's now 16 months old.
I love that he's seated at the table with us and that it's easier to clean under this seat than a traditional high chair. I also LOVE that it blends in with my dining room decor unlike most affordable high chairs on the market. It has a secure enough belt that my toddler can't get out while I'm doing housework nearby. We have traveled internationally with this chair. It easily fits in a suitcase when broken down. Also, we've taken it to eat at friends' homes so we're not wrangling a toddler during dinner. It's kind of a pain to take apart, so we keep it in one bulky piece when we do that.
TWO THINGS TO KNOW:
1. The tray is easy for baby to pull off and fling if you don't snap it on JUST so. I felt like an idiot when I discovered I'd been doing it wrong. With practice it's now second nature for us to put it on securely and our toddler can't pull it off.
2. In order to wash the fabric seat you have to take the whole thing apart. A totally unnecessary task that I detest. However, if you rip the seams (one small seam on each side) that hold the fabric shut around the metal bars, you can simply unsnap the fabric and detach it from the frame. The seat is still secure and functions in the same way.
