Lightweight, Compact Fold
Air-light and Compact

The 3D lite Convenience Stroller has an all-aluminum frame which means its super lightweight yet incredibly durable. Weighing less than 12 pounds, the 3D lite is one of the lightest strollers on the market. It has a compact, easy 3-step fold: 1) Lift the rear handle, 2) Push the lever with your foot, 3) Fold down and go! With an auto lock and carry strap it is ideal for carrying on the subway or through the airport.

Multi-Position Recline
Convenient Design for Parents

Unlike a traditional “x” frame stroller, 3D lite has an open design that allows for maximum accessibility to the storage basket and the ability to lay the seat nearly flat, making it ideal for napping and on-the-go diaper changes. To recline the seat, press the red buttons simultaneously and lower into the proper position. There are 4 recline positions so no matter your baby’s age or mood, they are always comfortable. Even better, once your baby is done napping, you can sit them up by adjusting the seat back with just one hand.

Large Storage Basket

Plenty of Storage

The extra-large storage basket is ideal for holding over-sized diaper bags and purses, and the rear storage pocket is perfect for keys and cell phones. With an included cup holder, you will always have a place for your beverage or baby bottle.

Pop Out Sun Visor

Baby Friendly Features

The large, adjustable canopy will block your baby’s sensitive skin from harmful rays, and the pop out sun visor provides even more protection on extra sunny days (rated to block 99.9% of both UVA and UVB rays). The 5-point safety harness easily adjusts to 3 height positions as your child grows, and with the additional padding your baby will always have a comfortable ride.

Easy Strolling

What a Smooth Ride!

The large and durable wheels measure 6-inches in diameter and feature front suspension which means your baby will always have a smooth ride. The front swivel wheels also lock into place, which make them ideal for strolling over any surface – grass, pavement, or even cobblestone. Additionally, the rear wheels lock easily with just the touch of a toe.

Whenever I buy something, I read all the reviews and research A LOT. And even then I'm not sure I'm making the right decision. There aren't that many reviews for the Summer 3d Lite as it seems fairly new to the market, so I thought I'd try and do a comparative review in the hopes of helping.

I wanted a durable, lightweight travel stroller, a decent recline, good wheels/maneuverability, comfort, storage space, 5-point harness, and for it to be easy to fold/unfold. I wanted all this for the minimum price possible as I already have an UPPAbaby Vista and a Chicco Liteway (I previously used the Chicco for travel but I had to leave it behind for an international move as I opted to take the Vista - we do lots of walking, and it's much cheaper to replace an umbrella stroller!).

Some airlines/airports have strict weight limits on strollers that can be gate checked, and some airlines will automatically send the stroller to the baggage conveyor belts even if you gate-checked, so lightweight was essential.

Initially I was considering the First Years Jet Stroller, which weighs just 11 pounds. It has a 4* average rating from over 1100 ratings, AND costs under 45 dollars - seemed pretty good. But I went to try it in store and it was awful - no recline, wheels didn't work properly (i couldn't maneuver it on the floor - my son is 18 months and weighs about 25 pounds, about half the recommended max weight), awful sunshade, and my son wanted out! It felt cheap and flimsy so i looked at the reviews more closely - theme was that it was good for the price, and that the wheels are awful but people overlook that as it was so cheap. So whilst the Jet may be good/better than expected (for the price), I wanted something that was genuinely good, even if it meant spending a bit extra.

I came across the Summer 3D Lite and ordered it. I was a little concerned as I could not find it in my local baby store, so I was buying blind. It seemed to fit my requirements, and weighs 12 pounds, just one pound more than the Jet.

I just bought this and have yet to use it, but will tell you why I made the purchase. It is much roomier than most convenience strollers. I have a large and tall 2.5 yr. old. He is already 41 lbs, this is rated to 50 lbs. I went to the store to try out several strollers under $100. Most of the inexpensive strollers are already too small for him. On the First Years Jet he had no head support as his head was above the back of the stroller and his shoulders were cramped. On the 3-D he is supported when sitting upright and reclined. The 3-D lite has an ample sunshade, unlike many other strollers in the class. It maneuvers really well and he is higher up off the ground. It has an incredible recline, nearly full. The basket is big and accessible, unlike many. There is a carry strap that will serve us well on an upcoming trip. It doesn't fold as tiny as i'd like, but with a big shade and tall handles that should be expected. I'll stop back to change rating if I need to. Figured I tell what I found since there are practically no reviews of this on the web.

We needed a travel stroller for an overseas trip. My daughter is almost 5, but we knew we'd be doing a lot of walking and touring. We've been through several umbrella strollers that have not lasted more than one trip- and were painful to push and uncomfortable for my daughter. So I did research this time, and finally decided on this one. It was one of the few umbrella strollers that had a higher weight limit (my daughter is almost 40 lbs.), and got great reviews.

We all LOVED it! I loved that it was easier to push than most umbrella strollers, even over grass; the storage basket underneath came in so much handy as we loaded it each morning with things we might need for the entire day- jackets, travel book, blanket, water, etc. I liked the cupholder (though I wish it had 2), and the little storage bag in the back was perfect for sunglasses, tissues, and hand wipes. My husband appreciated the higher handles. He's over 6' tall, and he usually has to hunch over to push an umbrella stroller, yet this one was tall enough to be comfortable for him, yet not too tall for me (I'm only 5'4"). We both loved what a pack horse it was! We even loaded it up with luggage and it didn't waver. It was a lifesaver. My daughter loved it, too. It was very comfortable for her, reclined nicely, and she even took several long naps comfortably in it.

All in all, we are very pleased with this purchase and I am SO glad we have finally found the perfect umbrella stroller- without having to pay an arm and a leg! (Too bad we went through so many before I finally sat down and did the research!)
