Didn't work for me.,

My video shows why I am returning this product. I couldn't record the product in actual use because I never got that far, it broke before I even got it out of the box. It didn't match our wood color either, I may go with the cherry version though. Hope this helps.

Originally, when I purchased this item it was $59.99. The item arrived in a timely manner thought the shipping box was damaged in the corner. The gate was in good shape, though.
Pros: -Solid wood -Fairly sturdy design Cons: -The foot spacer is a tripping hazard -The wall support bars may damage wall board -The wall supports need to be tightened often Although I have more cons than pros listed, I would still purchase this item as a pet gate. I do not think it is sturdy enough to be a child proof gate on stairs.

Wow. This gate is beautiful - a nice change from many of the plastic baby gates - and very sturdy. Trey can pull himself up on it, headbutt it, etc., and it doesn't budge. I just wish it were a little taller, so I didn't have to lean over so much to release the gate.
