My first complaint is the box the bear comes in is very flimsy ( rips very easy ) and it only has a thin open/non secured platic bag over it so there is no protection and makes it quite hard to wrap since the front of the box is open, presumably so you can feel the bear. The nature sounds are Wonderful, the lullabies are ok but my real complaint is the heartbeat sound Is Not womb "whoosh woosh" sound one usually associates with heartbeat sounds, nor is it even a thumpthump thumpthump sound - its just weird and odd. But for $20.00 I guess its buyer beware. The bear is very soft with no hard plastic eyes or nose so no worrys about choking hazzards.

My daughter would not sleep anywhere except on my chest or right next to me and after she started growing out of the newborn stage I needed more rest! I looked all around for something with a heart beat. And while the bear is very soft and good quality and the product is very nice and clever I don't like the heart beat sound and it has not seemed to help my daughter. The other sounds work and are okay but nothing too special. My daughter seems to like the music setting. One of the best things compared to other similar products is that the sound stays on for longer so you have more time to see if it will work.

I bought this before my child was born. Didnt open it til she was 6 weeks. she loved the lullabies and womb sounds when she was younger, they relaxed her and put her to sleep. now shes almost two and she still wont go to sleep without it, and carries it all around the house. ive taken the music box out of the back, but she still loves the bear. its soft, durable, and i usually just throw it in the wash with her blankets and it comes out just fine. it was such a nice bear, we bought her other gund animals and she loves them!

My two year old granddaughter is attached to this bear. When she was too little to manually turn it on, she would bump it with her head.
Now she can look at the back and turn it on/off, change music.
She carries it with her everywhere, we take the music box out to throw it into the washer.

This is the softest , most cuddly little bear I've ever seen. My 1st baby gift has always been a stuffed teddy bear and this one is so unique, because of the sounds it makes. A little technology really adds to the ability for this fuzzy bear to provide comfort to every little one. And this one is going to my first grand-baby boy in December!

This is actually the second bear that we have purchsed. The first one, for our first child has been the greatest purchase ever. It soothes him to sleep every night, and has for 20 months now, only needing new batteries once. We purchased this one for our second child, in the hopes that it becomes as beloved as the first. Plus, we know our son shares, but not this bear... So why take the risk. Would recommend this product to anyone with an infant/toddler.

I received this Melodies Bear as a gift on my Baby Registry..I am pleased with the quality and look of the bear..yet could not get the sounds to stay on. Then in the middle of the night when my baby was sleeping it would just come on automatically and woke the baby up twice until I finally just turned it off.

We no longer turn it on and just have it on the side of the crib for pure decoration only. So needless to say I am very disappointed it didn't do what it said. Save your money!!

I registered for this bear and received it early before my little one was born. I would hold it up to my belly and play the different sounds. Then when he was born 5 weeks early and with some medical issues, I made sure to put it in the NICU with him. When he came home 35 days later we use it every night to help relax him and so he could easily fall asleep. He is almost 17 mths now and we STILL use it. He loves his little bear for night time. I also bought one so he could have it at Grammy's house and have since bought a pink one for a friend. This is my new go-to gift for new Mommies... this and wubbanubs are the best things EVER!

This is a soft cute bear. I gave it as I gift so I am not sure how well it works.

This teddy was too cute. It was exactly what i was looking for. Not just a womb sound, but three settings. and still fluffy and soft.
