Best Monitor I've Ever Had!,
By Kimberly (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Summer Infant Baby's Quiet Sounds 900 MHz Rechargeable Monitor with Nightligh (Baby Product)
This monitor is the best one I have ever used. So many of the features are just good common sense.1. The parent receiver never needs batteries. Just leave the charger cord plugged into your nighttime location and disconnect the unit for daytime/mobile use. Completely rechargable and it lasts, too! 2. The volume control on the parent unit is NOT connected to the on/off switch! Find your perfect volume and leave it! 3. The baby unit has a nightlight that you can turn on and off without turninig the base on or off. 4. All this and it is one of the cheaper priced monitors out there... there is an upgraded version of this Summer has out now where the parent unit displays time and temperature. I haven't had any problems with static or interference. Great buy!

BARELY rechargeable!,
This review is from: Summer Infant Baby's Quiet Sounds 900 MHz Rechargeable Monitor with Nightligh (Baby Product)
I previously had a monitor that had a rechargeable receiver, so I was thrilled when I saw another with that option for baby #2. Don't be fooled! I fully charged the battery, and MAYBE it lasted about 2 or 3 hours. I was so disappointed. I am returning it today and paying the difference for a much better quality monitor.

Just got it, but there's no static.,

We just got this monitor (also got the Sony 27 channel to try) and I like the Summer just fine, though I can't speak to battery power or how long it will last since it's so new. But it is very clear and has great range; I walked about half a block away and it still worked. (Someone else was in the house w/my son when I did this!)

I read the reviews and people must have been paid to write such good things about this product. It was horrible since the first use. It was bought for me so I did not have the receipt and I decided to buy another to see if the first was faulty. The second was just as bad so I returned it. The reception is lousy and come in and out-NOT VERY SAFE! It also interferes with many other monitors out there. Don't waste your money!!!!

One of the best monitors I tried,

We tried several different monitors. We live in an apartment complex and kept picking up people's phone conversations and radios and such. This was the first one we tried that didn't. We had tried about 3 higher priced ones prior to this one. I LOVE the night light feature. The only problem is that it burned out after about 5 months of use. I have also only encountered a problem with the battery charge once, and that was after about 6 hours of on-off time throughout the day. I was planing on buying a new one of the same, but with the upgraded one with temperature reading and such, I think we'll just go for that.

Works well, but the charging cord is lousy!!,
This review is from: Summer Infant Baby's Quiet Sounds 900 MHz Rechargeable Monitor with Nightligh (Baby Product)
This product worked well for us; unfortunately, when our baby was around two months old, the power cord for the handheld unit started acting up. It wouldn't power the handheld unit unless the unit was placed JUST SO on a tabletop. We since discarded it and got another one. I'm very unimpressed with this product.

When the baby is up stairs and I'm down...I just feel more secure if I can hear him breathing, Thanks to this 900Mhz Rechargeable Monitor with Nightlight...it makes it all possible. What a great thing to have..."Piece of Mind!"
