My toddler doesn't like her temperature taken under her arm or in her ear. I borrowed this thermometer from a friend (I know, we cleaned it very well) and it worked magnificently. She didn't know her temperature was being taken. You don't need to worry about how far to insert the thermometer, b/c it is designed to make it obvious. It was so fast. Easy to read. Excellent product.

My child was sick with a fever I used this thermometer because it quickly gave a reading. But when she did not feel the least bit warm and it showed her temp over 101. I checked it again and it said 99. I am needing a thermometer to be accurate and consistent! This product does not meet my standards.

I love this themometer! With my first child my husband always called me a hypochondriac stating I always thought my baby felt warm well with this thermometer it actually glows an flashes if your child does have a fever,and only takes a few seconds! I love this and have recommended it to others!
