In a king size bed there is plenty of room for both parents and baby. you can get extra fitted bassinet sheets from Carters.

My newborn initially refused to sleep anywhere other than our arms or next to us, this was a safe way to co-sleep without worrying about safety. It's also great because it is more portable than her big bassinet, which has wheels but doesn't roll well on carpet. When she is sleeping in this I can carry her around to different rooms with me. Great purchase!

Purchased this for travel with a 3 mo old infant for trips to visit the grandparents and in various hotels. Folds up to be very compact. So much easier to bring than a pack-n-play! A few notes:

- I really like how one end is fully breathable mesh so I don't have to worry about my baby suffocating. However, I wonder why they didn't make both ends fully meshed. I always have to make sure I put my baby's head on the right side, and I can see people forgetting.

- I expect my baby to outgrow this within the next few months, but was still worth it for the use we got out of it.

- Our baby was 3 months old and unable to completely roll from back to tummy when using this bassinet. Now that she rolls at 4 months, I don't know if this will work well anymore. It might be too confining. Since she is used to sleeping in a regular crib, it seemed like she felt a bit confined at first and, if frustrated, would use her legs to push against the walls and launch/wedge herself into the opposite end of this bassinet. She only did it a couple of times, but it didn't look too comfortable.

- Finicky to fold-up.

- Used an American Baby Mini Crib Sheet (B000O7SR18 with it. If the extra material is tucked underneath, it works very well.

- We don't co-sleep, but I would imagine that it would be easier for co-sleeping if the walls of the bassinet were slightly lower.

This co sleeper is great. My baby would not sleep in her bassinet so I purchased this so she could sleep in bed with me. She loves this and sleeps very well. She does press her face against the mesh and the bottom has fabric so you need to make sure you place the baby's head at the top.

We have a queen sized bed with a cushy pillow top mattress so this doesn't work well for those 2 very reasons. I think if our bed had a firm mattress and was still a queen size, this would work well (albeit still quite large/in the way), but with every movement on a cushier mattress, it moves/jiggles this too, which in turn, moves baby and most likely wakes baby up.

I love that this is sturdily built, but dislike that the bed part swings like a pendulum since it is not attached to the bottom or sides of the frame, only at the top, which is something I did not realize before adding it to my registry and feel is important enough to mention.

I did find this useful to take while visiting relatives when I just didn't feel like lugging the huge pack n play that I didn't necessarily need. This folds up fairly well and takes up one half (with some room to put a few things on top I'd say) of a medium-large sized suitcase. For naps, we could easily take it with us if we were enjoying time outside or if we were close enough to leave her in it in a bedroom and be able to hear her and not have to worry about what she was sleeping in/on. It also has a carrying handle when it's closed up, so it'd be perfect for short visits that you don't want to drag a pack n play with to.

In a king sized bed, this works great - tried it at hotels.

What made this truly worth the purchase was how much we used it in our camper. We do not have room in the bedroom of the camper for any size pack n play (we have 2 different sized pack n plays), but this fit next to the bed on the floor perfectly (so did the Rock N Play Sleeper, by the way, which I think I found even more useful in the camper since she was high enough that I didn't have to reach down to the floor).

This product is great for travel however every day use in the bed does not really work for us. When placed in the bed, and her father or I lie beside the sleeper, it leans to the side and the baby slides and eventually her face is pressing against the mesh. It appears that the sleeper is perfect for flat firm surfaces.

My husband and I have a king size bed and this thing took up so much space neither of us could get comfortable to sleep. Also the sides are so tall that if I wanted to get my son out and had to get up on my knees in the bed to get him

Only dislike is it's hard to fold and the strap that keeps it closed when folded comes off making it easy to lose...which I did! And no carrying case makes it harder to travel with.

Spacious sleeping room for baby, not so much for yourself. I have a feeling the ideal consumer for this product would be a single mom. We have a full size bed so it's not spacious to begin with, but it's impossible to fit on the bed with my husband.

We DO use it for travel. This makes the perfect travel bed for younger babies rather than toting around a playpen. Newborns don't really need all the space a playpen has to offer when they can't even crawl. Folds in half and snaps together with a strap which has a built in handle! Doesn't fold FLAT, it's still bulky. Using it on our trip up north made the value more than worth it. If we hadn't brought it along our other option would've been to rent a playpen.

The mesh sidings give me a piece of mind and the whole build is very sturdy. Be sure to pull the legs back all the way until they click. I've put a throw pillow up underneath the top portion to prop my daughter's head up slightly so she can see the tv :)

DISCONTINUE AFTER BABY CAN PULL ITSELF UP!
