Baby,

I've used several different types of swaddlers, and this one is my favorite. It is easily adjusted, fits great, stays on very well, and is the magic trick for getting my daughter to sleep. I can see her visibly relax after it's on, and she sinks into a blissful sleep. We jokingly call it the Baby Coma Straitjacket. ;-) I wish we'd had this with my colicky first daughter! The best part is the slot for the carseat, so you can use it as a carseat or stroller blanket and it stays put and she can't kick it over her face. It also washes well. We bought the ivory color. Great swaddler, great price. Highly recommended!

Love it! My baby - now 5 months - will still only sleep if swaddled. And that's all we have to do - swaddle her and leave the room. Works like a charm!
This swaddler is great because unlike the jersey knit type swaddlers, this one doesn't stretch, so she can't wiggle out of it!

We got some newborn size swaddle blankets which we loved, they were the only thing that made our little girl sleep longer than 30-40 minutes. She would fall asleep but flail her arms and wake herself up. We've been squeezing her into the small ones untill we found this bigger size. Im so happy they make bigger ones. Now that she has more wiggle room for her legs but still has her arms snug against her body she regularly sleeps 7-8 hours at night at 4 months old.

I never really write reviews on here but I had to review this product after reading some of the reviews.
First let me say that my daughter is 5 months old and WILL NOT sleep without being swaddled. We've tried...she is good for like 30 minutes and then she moves her arms and forgetaboutit. So, we used receiving blankets, graduated to the miracle blanket, to the aden and anais blankets, to the halo swaddle sack and now to these. I loved the halo one because she could not kick out of it, but I am finding that it cannot get it tight enough around her after about a month or so of repeated use. My mom found these, and I was thrilled because it comes in a large size! At first I did not like it because I thought it wasnt not as "giving" as the halo ones but then I saw that the area where you can velcro is huge! I can wrap her SO tight in this thing, her arms did not get out for the first time in months! It was great! One person mentioned the velcro was wearing off after 3 months of use. I mean, come on guys- its like $10. Youve used it every day for 3 months and youre mad its wearing off? Its $10! Im sure we have all spent more than that on an outfit which I am SURE would wear out after wearing repeatidly for 3 months. Someone also complained that its too hot. Um, its fleece. Have you worn a fleece before? They are warm. Purpose served. I will say that my little girl gets hot in the jersey one, let alone the fleece one- but its a blanket that they are all bundled in...it gets hot! Overall I think its a great product for the price, i dread the day she cannot fit into them anymore. WHY are there not bigger ones out there?!?

Saved my sanity,
This review is from: Summer Infant SwaddleMe Microfleece, Green, Large (Baby Product)
I bought a blue fleece swaddle me early on in my pregnancy at a local big chain store. My daughter was then born 10 weeks premature. She was an angel in the NICU and I very rarely ever heard her cry. They kept he swaddled 90% of the time and she slept happily in her isolette and then bed.40 days in the hospital and she was finally released. This baby was not the baby I knew from the NICU once I got her home.Shed cry and cry.It increasingly got worse to where she would cry the moment you put her down. She has colic on top of this so sometimes holding her wouldnt even help.Swings, bouncers? Not a chance.I couldnt get things done.I was tired and cranky and not very patient at that point.Id literally have to leave her bawling in her basinet to take a breather. To eat.To pee.It broke my heart and I cried almost daily.
I tried to swaddle her from the beginning and very rarely did that help.Shes a strong 11 week old 8 pounder now and she can easily get out of any swaddle- and Ive tried them all.I tried the expensive ones, the stretchy ones-every material, every size.Arms in,arms out- she is an escape artist. I had to sleep with her cuddled next to me to get her to sleep for a couple of hours and I by no means advise sleeping with a baby like this.I didnt sleep well and even though I never forgot she was there,Id worry in my sleep that I would. She in turn wouldnt sleep any other way.Wouldnt settle down unless you held her. Night before last during one of her fits,I was moments away from leaving her in her screaming basinet and going to sleep on the couch.I have to sleep to function and to deal with another day of crying.I couldnt do that, just let her cry alone. My mommy mind raced with thoughts of her crying until she couldnt breathe. So I returned and remembered the swaddleme. I swaddled her in it,she struggled for a moment to get free but couldnt as before. She settled down and for the first time in weeks, slept soundly, alone in her basinet for 6 1/2 hours.Fluke? No way.I had to wake this kid to eat.She slept a god majority of yesterday and even slept well last night too. I feel I can breathe again and she looks so peaceful once she settles down to sleep. You'd think by the way she struggles at first that she hates it,but once she realizes she snug and safe and confined she sleeps like an angel. I just ordered another and am very happy with it. Dont know how it will wash but it saved me for a day(and hopefully many more) and Ill buy a new one every day if I have to just to get some peace of mind. VERY HAPPY with this product.

"Happiest Baby On The Block" by Dr. Karp (also available on Amazon) recommends swaddling your baby as needed the first few months if the baby is colicky or otherwise difficult to soothe or get to sleep at night. HIS PRINCIPLES WORK!!!! In his video he demonstrates how to swaddle your baby using a blanket. The SwaddleMe makes the process effortless...no matter how much the baby kicks and stays put. It's definitely a necessity. Great for a shower gift. Our baby was 21 inches at birth and quickly grew out of the small so I recommend the medium. The fleece material is a must. I recommend to all of my friends. I wish they made one adult-sized!

Baby got WAY too hot.,

I gave this 2 stars because although it fit great, the velcro was strong, and it kept her arms (mostly) in, it was WAY too hot - even for as cold as we keep our house (65 degrees). Our little girl overheat in this thing very easily, even after I let her feet out. I returned the microfleece one and I ordered the cotton knit one. I hope the knit one isn't as warm.

Swaddler $10..... Sleep .......priceless!!!,
This review is from: Summer Infant SwaddleMe Microfleece, Green, Large (Baby Product)
Best money ever spent; I have two of these for my 3 week old, and since using these many nights I get 4 to 5 hours of sleep at a stretch. If I wasn't breastfeeding, I am sure I would get even MORE sleep. Without the blanket, she wakes up ever 30 min to 2 hours maximum...
My first daughter used to wake up every 30 min to an hour, when I just swaddled her in a regular blanket she'd always come undone. I didn't even know something like this existed. These blankets are AWESOME!!! Once in awhile baby will wiggle her arm up after a few hours and get a hand out, but doesn't bother her much. I LOVE THIS BLANKET! My only complaint is that it is a little too warm - but I dress her in diaper and a onesie, and this blanket keeps her toasty warm even though I keep the bedroom pretty chilly. But since winter is around the corner, I won't get a different fabric (we have microfleece) If I had to have only one item as a must have besides diapers, these blankets would be it!!! I will be ordering the larger size very soon to make sure my baby doesn't outgrow this one while I wait for shipping in the future, but I'm sure the small ones will last quite awhile, seems she has a lot of room. :)

Love this product. My son is long and all of the others ended up being way to short by 2 & 1/2 months! This one is warm, soft and has plenty of space to grow into. Great for babies who still like the swaddle at 3 months and beyond!
