SwaddleMe: Safer Sleep, Sweeter Dreams

Providing a proper sleep environment is one of the most important things you can do for your baby. When done correctly, swaddling is a practical way to help promote safe sleep. Infants who are swaddled during sleep have been found to startle less and sleep longer. Babies should always be placed to sleep on their backs, in a crib or bassinet with a firm mattress and tight fitting sheet. The award-winning SwaddleMe helps babies sleep safely on their backs and replaces loose blankets in the crib. All of our swaddle wraps have plenty of stretch and room allowing for baby’s development, while giving them the snugness they need to feel secure. With four transitional stages of wearable blankets, and variety of adorable fashions, SwaddleMe helps baby sleep soundly from day one.

SwaddlePod: Simple Swaddle Solution for Newborns and Preemies

Developed with leading safe sleep experts, SwaddlePod is the first stage in swaddling, ideal for newborns. It helps prevent baby from startling awake by recreating the familiar snugness of the womb. A convenient two-way zipper makes diaper changes easy! The SwaddlePod fits newborns and preemies, 5-10 pounds, and is available in a variety of adorable fashions.

Swaddling Simplified!

Simple and easy to use, just zip baby into pod. The soft, comfortable cotton spandex blend stretches with baby's movement for comfort. The two-way zipper makes it easy for parents to change baby’s diaper without disturbing their little one. Always place babies on their backs to sleep.

Stage 1: SwaddlePod, Simple Swaddle Solution

Ideal for newborns, SwaddlePod creates a cozy womb-like feeling for baby and helps prevent the startle reflex that can wake baby. Simple and easy to use, just zip baby into the pod for a secure, comfortable fit.

Stage 2: SwaddleMe Adjustable Infant Wrap

Wrap baby securely in SwaddleMe for a safer, better sleep. Extra soft, adjustable wings provide a perfect snug fit, even for wiggly babies. The secure design creates a cozy, womb-like feeling for baby and prevents the startle reflex that can wake up your infant. Designed with leading safe-sleep experts, SwaddleMe is trusted by parents around the globe.

Stage 3: WrapSack Transitioning Swaddler & Wearable Blanket

SwaddleMe WrapSack is the perfect 2-in-1 swaddler and sleep sack, providing a safer alternative to loose blankets in the crib. It comfortably swaddles baby’s arms while allowing for more leg room and movement. Baby can sleep with both arms in, both arms out, or one of each. Simple and easy to use, the WrapSack grows with baby as they learn to sleep without being swaddled.

Stage 4: ComfortMe Wearable Blanket

The ComfortMe Wearable Blanket offers extended sleeves to keep baby’s arms warm and to give them a feeling of security and comfort as they learn to sleep through the night. In addition, the ComfortMe offers a bottom zipper to make diaper changes easy and keeps zipper pulls safely away from

Customer Questions & Answers

Customer Reviews

I wish they made it in bigger sizes because my older baby loved being swaddled.
Joseph C. Walston
The baby also likes it better than swaddling because he can move his arms and the fabric stretches.

If you chose to use this product, please check on our baby frequently and be very careful.

We had a Houdini preemie - she'd weasel her way out of her swaddle and wake herself up... until the Swaddlepod. This helped to calm her down to sleep and while the neck still allowed her to occasionally pop a hand out, she stayed asleep. We also loved the double zipper for middle of the night diaper changes! A few tips for parents that we wished we had known about:
1) When the baby is tiny (under 7 pounds), the Swaddlepod works more effectively if you put it on over a sleeper. Just putting your pumpkin in a onesie and a Swaddlepod will allow hands to escape. Once your baby chunks up a bit, you'll find it's easier to keep him/her snuggled up in a Swaddlepod.
2) Buy two. Or three. It's inevitable that baby will puke (oh, not my baby!), and you'll want to swap out your Swaddlepod. We found that the Swaddlepod stayed wet around the neck and was uncomfortable for her until we replaced her Swaddlepod for a fresh one. (And truly, as they are relatively inexpensive compared to the Woombie, it behooves you to buy at least two.)
3) Start investigating what you'll do after you've reached the weight limit for this nifty item. She is reaching the weight limit for this product and while she's now fitting into a Swaddleme, we wish that the company would make these in a larger size. (In fact, we've had several friends and relatives joke that they wish the company made these in adult sizes...)

I can't believe this product is still on the market! There should be a "0" star option! I happened across this page while searching for a new sleep sack and felt compelled to warn other parents of my experience! I actually complained to the CPSC and had a CSPC investigator come to my house about it after my experience in 2011. I started using this with my son when he was a few weeks old and weighed over 8Lb so was well within the size guidelines for the product. He was able to break out of a traditional swaddle with a blanket but still needed the comfort and security of a swaddle to sleep. I was going to buy a woombie but saw this at BRU and decided to try it due to the much better price tag. The first night was fine. The second and third nights he was able to wiggle his hand through the opening to suck his fist but was OK. The next nap I found him crying after getting his arm up through the hole and stuck up along his head, with the neck opening pulling tightly across his throat (tight enough to leave a red mark!). I stupidly (incredibly stupidly, in retrospect!!) tried it one more time and was awakened that night to sounds of him struggling and found him with the swaddle pod pulled up over his face and head. Every medical and safety authority tells you not to let babies sleep with loose blankets because even thin ones can hinder breathing and have been linked to SIDS. The neck opening on the swaddle pod is FAR too large for a newborn and makes it easy for the baby to get arms stuck or pull the material up over its face/head. I ended up being given a woombie and that design is far safer.Read more ›

I received a Swaddle pod and a Swaddle me as shower gifts from a friend who said her sister swore by them. Now I know why. Both are so easy to use, my son loves them. At first he fights against the pod (and the swaddle me), but after a few minutes, he settles right in and goes to sleep.

My husband and I bought the swaddle blankets, watched the swaddling DVD, and attempted several times to swaddle our son with various blankets. We just couldn't get the swaddle tight enough and he would break loose.

With the Swaddle Pod and Swaddle Me, he doesn't break loose, and we don't have to worry about making the swaddle too tight.

This will definitely be a gift I give new (and old) mothers from now on.

My son is an absolute Houdini when it comes to swaddles. He broke out of every other product we tried, the Miracle Blanket, the Summer Swaddle Sacks, and even swaddling very tightly like we were taught by the nurses at the hospital with every type of blanket imaginable. I was so scared when I woke up in the middle of the night to find him un-swaddled with the blanket around his face. So of course, I was so relieved when we found this product! It works great, I can change his diaper without disturbing him, and he doesn't get his arms out. The fabric stays well away from the face, and he has some movement of his arms without startling himself awake.
We loved this product, unfortunately, at only 5 1/2 weeks old, he is bursting out of it. He's a big boy, 8lbs at birth and almost 12 now, and the Swaddle Pod is just too tight. I purchased two of these so we would always have one on hand. I came back last night to buy some more in the next size up, and was SO dissapointed to find that the company lacked the foresight to make larger sizes for bigger babies. But, since this concept works so well with my son, I shelled out the extra money for a Woombie. They could have kept my business if they provided a larger range of sizes!
The bottom line is, if you have a small baby who can get out of swaddles, this is probably a great product for you. But unfortunately, it's not going to last you long, and if it is what works for your baby, you're going to end up with the much more expensive Woombie.
