One of My Favorites of All Time,

This is the first Regency I read back in 1979 and is the book that got me hooked on the genre. I really enjoyed the excellent characterization. The heroine is charming and vivacious. The hero is dashing and romantic almost to the point of being over the top. This book unlike some others has excellent backdrop and scenery descriptions. The plot revolves around Isabelle who is enjoying the Season in London. One element of mystery is the fact that every time Isabelle ecounters the hero he is masked. As you can imagine the unmasking is quite a dramatic event. I have not read any of this author's other books because I found another one to be flat. I can't remember which one it was.
