Excellent CD,not one bad song on it.Great flashback to the 60's & 70's scene.Highly recommend for any age group.

Forgot how good these songs sound! Great cd...highly recommend for any fan or someone who wants to know what the roots of today music is.

Some months ago I had the craving to hear the old song, "Secret Agent Man" and started looking for one of Johnny Rivers' CDs. This is just a great collection. It had the song I'd been craving along with the hits I remember and some I had not heard. 25 great songs.

There are lots of familiar tunes here that you have probably forgotten that Johnny Rivers had done. Not only his great covers of old rock hits but his own hits including "Secret Agent Man", "Rockin' Pneumonia and Boogie Woogie Flu", "Poor side of town" and "Summer Rain". Not only is this the best single disc geatest hits release of Johnny Rivers' work but it beats the pants off the double disc `Anthology'. This CD earns five stars.

I'm a fan of Johnny Rivers and I found many of his songs on many music download sites, including Amazon. But my favorite song of his is Summer Rain. All I found was remakes of the song, not the original that is heard on the radio. The cd I purchased has the version I want along with many of the other songs I love of his.

jonny rivers summer rain.is a grate cd had all the songs i love!!.can`t beat the price`s.it`s rock and roll. i play it all the time on my way to work and back!!.jonny sing`s blue suede shoes and he has got the king beat on that song. is a good cd some song`s have that blues sound that i like. thank you.

Saw Johnny in Biloxi, MS in 1965, during my ROTC Summer Camp, just a few days before Hurricane Betsy hit. Buddy and I met two beauties from Miss State, and thought we had it made until one stood up: she was several months pregnant. But I'm a Rivers fan, and hearing/seeing him in person made the whole evening a winner. Two songs may be "session tapes": they don't match what's on the 45 rpm recordings precisely, but they are quite good anyway. I recommend this CD.

this is a gift so all I can commnt on is a good price and good service.
