This book is about changing lives. I work at a Ttle I school. When we handed out books the children were so excited. One brought back a picture of her new book shelf she made. She had never owned books! It was a relevant and eye opening discovery for our teachers.

Indispensable to understand current processes of educational advancement among groups differentiated by class and race. A good source of information to design policy.
