This CD is perfect for everyone familiar with Bruce Carroll's music. It features all his best songs from his first 5 releases and two "new" songs. "Shadow and Light" is a reflection on the struggle of Christians to live a holy life. "Simon Peter" is a classic from his concerts that deals with Peter's feelings of guilt after he betrays Jesus, ultimately ending with his new resolve after seeing the risen Savior. It's hard to pick favorites from the rest of the line-up of his radio hits, but I would have to include "I'm Still Here" and "Living in the Pages" as examples of his great songwriting and singing ability.

This CD does not have any stories on it, just Bruce singing and the audience reactions. As such, there is nothing that doesn't stand up to repeat listening. I find I listen to this CD more then any of his others. Definitely worth owning.

On a short list of all time great contemporary Christian recordings this would have to be included. Very few recordings compare to What they put together on this CD. I have no horse in this race but from the opener "Living in the Pages" to "The Great Exchange" is a spiritual journey like few others. Yea I like it...

I felt that Walk On was my favorite CD of Bruces, but I have to say that this one is in the running. Bruce has a voice that reminds me of James Taylor. He is very talented and loves the Lord. His songs are of praise and life. I can find myself through all his music. I can listen to these songs while I work or read. They are catchy, soothing and beautiful. I have almost all of his music CDs.
