OK, so I've rated it star or two higher than most people would. That's because I watched it several dozen times back in 1976 when the motel only had five movies (8mm film) in the autoplayer (this was before satellite channels). The best way to watch it is to first watch a Streets of SF show with Karl Malden, then watch the last ten minutes of this movie. (!!) But I enjoy the whole movie in a lazy mindless way. Really cute girl, banana-top guy (in Italy?!), and a sour Malden who finally does the right thing. Every five years or so, I want to see it again.
