No need for burying keepsakes in a tin can or shoe box anymore. This time capsule is so cute and and I love the future date setting feature. I bought this recently and the kids had a blast filling it with personal items.

I actually got this because I actually wanted to bury something in my backyard. That's what I did with it and I am hopeful that it will do a reasonably good job--i.e. be waterproof. We shall see. In any case it struck me as an ok toy-for kids with a good imagination it will be fine, but not sure it adds much to a typical jar or tin can that could be used in a similar way.
