I killed a whole lot of fungus gnats with this stuff. Threw a chunk in the watercan every time I watered and it cleared out the whole population in a couple weeks. I left one alive and sent him on his way so he could tell the others not to mess with me and my mosquito dunks. No idea if these kill mosquitos, but I bet it's worth a shot. 4 stars, cause who needs this much of the stuff? Would've preferred a smaller package.

I got this product because I heard it worked to rid gnats from houseplants. It does not work for gnats/fruitflies!!!! I will, however, try it for mosquitos and see!

Several years ago we bought a house near a wetland reserve and there are several seasonal creeks that run by our property. We tried every product on the market but by evening we were forced indoors until we started using these.
Starting in April/May, once every month, I take a walk and drop one of these into each creek and we are mosquito free all summer.

I have a 5-7 square feet (surface area) pond, and have followed the directions, but the larvae are still there and producing adults.

I don't want to harm children or animals, so I carefully researched low or no toxicity solutions to mosquito control. I concluded a microbial control like Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (Bti) was perfect. I purchased this product because it was the only one I could easily find. It does not work. My neighbors tried it and it didn't work there either. I'm in central Texas. There are several other ingredients in this product, so perhaps there is an issue with its potency or delivery mechanism. I will try other Bti products until I get the right one.

I have had no mosquito problems since using this in my 55 gallon rain barrel and this summer we have had tons of rain in WI...so I put a new one in each month...

I used this product in each of the drains for our french drain. By doing this alone, it seemed to reduce our mosquitos in our yard by almost half!

I've been using Mosquito Dunks for the past two years, and they work great for me. One tablet last 2-3 weeks in my 3' X 8' pond. Vic Deitz

I don't know if it's a better season for mosquitos or this product works wonders, but I haven't been bitten once! I would recommend...
