5.0 out of 5 stars Better than any whitener I ever tried
Those oxy products can't even begin to compare, if you want it really white, soak over night, I warn you though.... Put on some sunglasses because the results can be blinding....It comes out very white. For underarm yellow stains though it takes a little more work, I leave it over night with white brite, rinse it, thenuse some peroxide mixed with baking soda to make a...

1.0 out of 5 stars White Bright is NO GOOD!!!
If I could give White Bright 0 stars I would!!! I had to write a review to warn people of the horrible results I have gotten twice from using White Bright. It doesn't whiten your whites. In fact, it does the exact opposite and creates erratic pail brown and additional yellow spots on your clothing. I followed the directions precisely for use in a washing machine and...

Put on some sunglasses because the results can be blinding....It comes out very white. For underarm yellow stains though it takes a little more work, I leave it over night with white brite, rinse it, thenuse some peroxide mixed with baking soda to make a runny paste, and apply to stubborn yellow let soak a few hours, and they come out. Just DO NOT mix with bleach.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yellow Out For Baseball Pants, November 14, 2006

My son plays competitive baseball. His white uniform pants get thrashed. We played on a field that has red dirt (like Georgia clay)for three days straight. Needless to say, I figured his pants were going in the trash. With nothing to lose, I soaked his pants in Yellow Out that I found in the garage. Two pants were soaked while the other pair was MIA. When I put them in the laundry, now with the thrid pair that had been found but not soaked, the results were amazing. The two pants that were pretreated with Yellow Out were like new. The pair that was just washed without presoaking were still thrashed. I soaked the untreated pair and rewashed them. They too came out white. I am very impressed with the results. I have never used it on anything else, but I will always use it on my son's baseball pants. It is better than spending $35.00 per pair of pants!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic product!, May 6, 2008
This review is from: Summit Brands White Brite (Kitchen)
I started using Yellow Out the summer of 2007. First on the kids whites that became stained from dribbling food and grit and grime from the play area. I first used the product on tee shirts and socks that were so badly stained that simple bleach was ineffective on the dirt. A friend recommended Yellow Out, which is now Brite White, and after the first wash I knew I had a great product! Brite white removes stains from clothing generally in one wash! Love the product!

White Brite seemed somewhat expensive when I purchased it, but after trying it on several types of clothing, I have changed my mind. It works well as a general stain remover and whitener. I'm happy I purchased it!

5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING!, July 22, 2011
This review is from: Summit Brands White Brite (Kitchen)
It rescued a very important shirt! My son had taken his brand new, white cotton, team shirt and slid around in lake mud/slime mixed with algae and who knows what else. I washed it 4 times with a wide variety of products including spray-n-wash, bleach, oxy-clean, ammonia, vinegar...literally trying anything to try and save this shirt. The black streaks remained very prominent. It looked like a filthy rag! Then I tried White Brite. HOLY SMOKES! I put some hot water in a large pot, poured in this powder (which doesn't smell very good, I'm afraid), then dipped in the shirt. The stains disappeared IMMEDIATELY! Seriously, they were gone completely. Of course, then I had to dip in everything I could find that was white. This stuff is amazing. It is less effective on red clay stains...they came out lighter, but were not removed completely (still an improvement over bleach and oxy-clean!). It is wonderful for safely removing unwanted yellowing, accidental dye transfers in the wash, and stubborn organic-based stains. I will definitely keep this in my arsenal!

5.0 out of 5 stars better than bleach!, July 14, 2010

I use this to soak whites all the time and there is no more yellowing in my white clothes and towels! Two considerations - if you plan to soak or wash in cold water, fill the washer on low with warm and dissolve the whitewash before adding cold water and clothes (dissolves better in warm water) and if you are washing white t-shirts that have sunscreen soaked into the neck and arms, you may need to bleach the yellow stains caused by the sunscreen reacting with the white wash. It comes out fairly easily once bleached though.

We have well water with high iron contents and this product is the ONLY product that will get my whites WHITE!!! You can't use bleach with iron in your water it turns them a dingy yellow. This product has made my whites look as white as if I bleached them, without all the harmfull effects bleach as on your clothes. I HIGHLY recommend this product!!!

This product is excellent! It really gets the yellow tinge out that builds up in white clothing over time. I used this every once in a while when I lived in a city, but out in the country I use it even more often. It's a really wonderful product and I buy it in the largest size available. I really rely on this product and it definitely gets the job done!

1.0 out of 5 stars Had faith, but no results, September 28, 2010

I had pretty simple discoloring (not stains) and the product turned certain parts "bright white" while leaving the discoloration spots visible. Now I have bright white contrast next to the stains which makes them more noticeable. Not recommended.

I've used "Yellow Out" in the past and had really good luck. I thought I would give this product a try... never again. Wasted so much time bleaching and re-bleaching.
