Phillip Sedgewick began his study of astrology in 1969. He started astrological counseling in 1975, becoming a full time professional in 1980. He has lectured internationally and has conducted classes and seminars in many major conferences and conventions. His areas of expertise include metaphysics and parapsychology.
Co-founder and President of Delta Dynamics - an astrological consulting and research company, Phillip has used astrology with business clients ranging from sole proprietors to Fortune 500 corporations. He is currently working with the entertainment industry as well as with programs to increase commercial aviation safety.

How often does an ancient science like astrology open a new door? And how fortunate for us that Philip Sedgwick is here to provide such a readable introduction and guide into these new realms. Heliocentric astrology redraws an astrological chart with the sun, instead of the earth, at the center. Sedgwick explains the significance of this shift, and provides a fun and informative map of the new territory. His views of the new meaning of standard astrological elements come from his years of experience and profound insights from his extensive study and reflection. I heard Sedgwick speak on this topic at a recent astrological conference, and came away wanting to learn more. His book is full of the same wit and intelligence I experienced from his talk. Some understanding of traditional Western astrology will help you understand his concepts, but this book is written for everyone with a beginning understanding of astrology, not just the practicing professionals.
