This is a review from someone who used to frequent the Sound Factory and the Red Zone in the 1980's when House music was still a child. This CD is absolutely STUNNING. I was floored. This is probably the best House CD I have ever heard in my life. It EPITOMIZES House music: classy, sexy, intelligent and fun. I would strongly advise anyone who either is unfamiliar with House or loves House and is curious about this CD to purchase it.

This is what in the 70's we called underground. It's jazzy with a touch of Lonnie Liston Smith. It's a has a bit of samba sounds but just a touch. Nice listening and dancing music. Soft jazzy club.Up tempo, happy positive music. Great for working out.
Inspiracao has a great flute piece.
Enjoy it. It is truly a journey.

I randomly selected this CD w/out ever listenting to the Journeys by DJ series. I am completeley blown away; every track is epic. The album reminded me of only the finest Sunday afternoons at San Francisco's End Up. Nicolas Matar has excellent taste and mixing prowess -- one of the best House compilations ever . . . EVER.

I love this cd, it's danceable and great to put on during a party or just to listen to on your own. I give it a thumbs up!
