5.0 out of 5 stars I love sun in!
I have dark brown hair and I was scared to try sun in because it said it may turn dark hair red but it didn't! I wanted light brown hair so bad and that is what I got! It is very gradual though so you can choose how light you want to go. I used it about 5 times and got the color I wanted. These are a great price too so I baught 4 but one bottle goes a long way.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not great for light brown hair.
My hair is a cross between light brown and dirty blonde. I really wanted lighter hair but after using this stuff my hair has turned kind of a brassy color. Not very pretty. I'm hoping if I use it more it will turn more blonde, but I might end up just getting my hair highlighted. I gave it three stars because it DOES work, I just think it's more suited for lighter blondes...

5.0 out of 5 stars great product, June 1, 2008
I spray this on my girls hair when they are swimming and they get a nice hint of highlights. Just enough that they look natural. NOT ORANGE HAIR just faint golden sunkissed streaks.

Love this product !
Easier and less expensive than going to the salon.
Can easily control where the product goes.
I leave it in overnight and it makes my hair
softer and bouncier than before.
Would highly recommend it.
Sorry that it is no longer sold in stores, only
on the internet.

For the girls out there that can't get their hair highlighted or dyed because their parents wont let them, sun in is the product for you! I have medium brown straight hair. I had to wet my hair, spray on sun in and comb it a couple of times for it to get to the color i wanted but it really does work, under the sun or with a blow dryer. My hair did get dry after the sun in did it's work but my hair was back to normal after I shampooed it.

I'm disappointed because I used to be a blonde when I was younger which is why I thought it would work for me.

i have naturally light brown hair, so when i first used the product i didn't see any difference. the next time i used it i DRENCHED my hair with the spray (after it was up in a french braid) this worked! my hair is now lighter, but not a fake-looking blonde. it looks sun-kissed. it does work, just give it time

I used to use Sun-in when I was younger and then I couldn't find it in the stores anymore. I'm SO glad I found it again! I am a natural blonde, but get darker roots in the winter since I'm not out in the sun. People often think I dye my hair because of it, but I don't. This stuff is so easy to use and instantly lightens your hair the first time you use it. It got rid of my roots with 2 uses. Plus, it doesn't feel like it damages my hair at all. I LOVE this stuff!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Product, August 9, 2008
This product was fantastic all my friends have been saying that my hair looks so much blonder than when we left school. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because It did make my hair pretty dry. It didn't make my hair green when I went in the pool like people said it would, but if you buy this product make sure you always condition really well after using it, or it will dry your hair out. It really made my hair look pretty and it really brought out my natural highlites that tend to come out in the summer anyway.

4.0 out of 5 stars Use with Caution, July 27, 2008
By
AliCat (Vernon, New Jersey) - See all my reviews
This product works well, but according to my hairdresser it isn't so great for your hair. Unlike natural lighteners like lemon and vinegar, Sun-In has chemical ingredients that remain in your hair until it grows out. It will continue to lighted each time you go out into the sun. So just make sure you use it sparingly, and don't rush the results. A light spray before you head into the sun will lighten your hair, but if you drench your hair it might wind up much lighter than you initially intended.
