Directions
Smooth evenly over face and body. Color is instant and will intensify in 3 hours. To avoid discoloring palms wash hands with soap and water immediately after use. For best results exfoliate skin regularly with the Exfoliant Body Gel. To maintain tan apply Ultra Dark 1 to 3 times weekly in conjunction with the Tan Moisturizer Maintainer. Alternate using Ultra Dark in the evening and the Tan Moisturizer Maintainer in the morning.

Awesom Product---Use Comet to clean hands,

I too have been using this product for years now (the Dark Sunsation) and I am very fair. It goes on great... just have to make sure you work fast and really rub it in well, and the color is perfect. MOST IMPORTANT--- for clean up just use some Comet powder (or liquid Comet) (YES... COMET the stuff you clean your sink with!) and sprinkle on your hands when washing... the bleach in the Comet will take the brown color right out in less than 30 seconds! I do it every time, then just put some hand lotion on. Another trick is if you have dark spots on your skin (age spots, freckles, small scars) they tend to "soak up" the dark color and they can become even darker (which we don't want)--- get a Q-tip, wet it, then dip it in some Comet powder and lightly wipe the dark spot. This will take the self tanner off the dark spot so it won't get darker and it will blend perfectly with the rest of your skin!

very messy,
By the gel formula to be very messy to use. I used a sponge as well as my hands. In using my hands, there is no grace period in washing it off. It takes about 10 minutes with a brush, soap and exfoliant. I would not buy it again.

Smells great. Looks good but is not nearly dark enough for me. It says dark and I expected. DARK. Not so much.
