From School Library Journal
PreSchool-K --This story offers cliches and stilted writing about a conversation between the Earth and the lonely Sun who would like to have a friend (oddly, the Earth behaves like a friend, but never offers to be one). The conversation is repeated between Earth and Moon. And, surprise, the Moon and the Sun agree to become friends. They meet momentarily (an eclipse) and agree to get together more often. The illustrations--like the story--are a little hard to believe. The drawings are flat and without perspective, while the colors are wonderful shades of greens and yellows and blues. They can't make up for the poor writing and an unconvincing story .
