likeable post punk, March 25, 2011

if you like the Bunnymen, the Cure, maybe even the Fixx, then you'll like this well produced album of happy/sad, light/dark, melodic guitar pop, a la late 80s. what gets me to writing here is that i have just put this cassette in my player for maybe the 2nd or 3rd time since i found it buried in a bin at Salvation Army, and i decided to see what i could find out about it. discovering the Amazon listing for the cassette, i was astonished to discover that somehow the Andrews Sisters are credited with backing vocals. the J card insert makes no mention of them whatever, and i think this is erroneous.
if you like the Alarm, the Bunnymen, the Cure, the Smiths, you will like this lesser known band very much in the same vein, and see if you can find anything at all about the Andrews Sisters in it....
