Hot Toddy gives an upbeat, electro-touched mix to Crazy P's SUN SCIENCE, as does Ron Basejam with his dub, whereas his other remix has more of a funk feel to it, which keeps it more in line with the original. But the b-sides are the standouts here: when Crazy P takes on The Source's "You've Got the Love," they give it a mellow funk vibe to it. "Warm on the Inside" slides into a twinkling downtempo groove and doesn't let up the good feelings. But "Bum Cop" takes the cake here, with its joyous piano chords and wah-wah guitar.
