Our 8 month old baby girl loved this thing, just sitting in it on the floor. She'll throw herself around inside of it, smiling and playing. We haven't actually used it in the pool as the local YMCA does not allow inflatables. I can say that the one we have will slowly deflate over time, although it should hold just fine for a few hours in the water. At a cost of 6 dollars or so, this was definitely worth it.
