The watercolor illustrations reflect a childlike sensibility and are suitably engaging. In addition to presenting seasonal activities (such as a picnic in the summer and skating and sledding in winter), the authors list some standard "funny things" people say about the weather: "Rain, rain go away" ; "If the cows are lying down, it's going to rain."
