More of the same dreamy ...., September 24, 2007
This review is from: Sun Will Come (Dig) (Audio CD)
.... gorgeous music, languid vocals, perfect for watching the sun set, with a bottle of wine ... that they did on their first CD, Sound Echo Location. In particular Waves and Nobody Loves You (The Way I Do) ... my two immediate favourites, with soulful vocals by Briony Greenhill. A side project of Heaven 17's Glenn Gregory but a very different sound. Definitely worth the price of the import. Also, pick up their debut CD, and if possible, the accompanying DVD with clips for each of the songs (from JustMusic.co.uk) ... hypnotic and beautiful!
Other similar acts you might want to check out are Loner and Laroca (unfortunately also imports only).

Well worth the price, November 12, 2011

This group's songs are difficult to pigeonhole other than every track contributes to an excellent album. Some selections convey an angst or nostalgia that impacts me every listen. I definitely recommend both Sound Echo Location and Sun Will Come and hope Honeyroot will release more.
