I recently purchased the DCRF134 upright refrigerator/freezer, I'm running it off of 2 6V Trojan T105RE batteries. I installed it and within 3 hours I had temps in the 36-30F degree range in the fridge and -5F in the freezer. I am very pleased with it's operation and gave it a 4 star ratting. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 rating is that the light doesn't work and there was no bulb in the outlet. I thought it was simply an oversight, I contacted Sundanzer to get the correct bulb number and was told, are you ready for this, the light is wired for 220VAC not 12VDC, they said the 220V wiring wouldn't handle the current load for a 12V bulb!!! Are you kidding me? I have the DCF225 freezer and it has a working 12V light. They said the cabinets are made in Europe and their engineers decided not to include the 12V light. Even with this flaw, I would recommend the DCRF134 if you're looking for an upright unit rather than a chest type.

better than nothing. I have owned one of these for just over a year now and I feel confident when I say that this model needs some improvements.
the freezer works so hard that it runs all day (90 degree desert) but the fridge doesn't cool completely. salad lasts about 2 days and cheese molds pretty fast. so, while the fridge part is warm, the freezer is extra cold and allows a stream of ice down the back of the interior!
I tried to contact the company for service but after 3 emails and 2 phone calls I haven't received any help at all.
Basically I have to buy a new fridge and it sure won't be a Sundanzer. maybe they make good freezers, but the fridge is almost pointless.
